i have this gun and enjoy it vary much. i would recommend any crosman product. they stand behind there products 100% this means everything to me.i have had to send a gun back to them and they were great about replacing the gun.for this reason i believe there products are vary much worth the money you send.not all companies are as good about repair and replacement.i really like crosman products for this reason.

Good with BBs, jams with pellets

    By Anonymous

Bought mine a few days ago. I've run through 10+ CO2 cartridges and the gun will miss-fire a pellet on avg. 3 times out of 8 - The nose of the pellet jams against the fluting on the barrel port. It is as if it requires the pellet to be perfectly lined up with the barrel since it leaves a crescent-shaped indentation on the nose of the pellet. At first I thought it was the clip gripping the pellets too tightly, or the ratchet teeth were dodgy, so I bought a pack of 3 extra clips - Not one will fire an entire clip of pellets. It will ALWAYS jam somewhere in those 8 rounds while using the 100 supplied Crosman pellets.

BBs work well and accurately. I'll stick to them from now on.

I like the high-speed loading of both ammo and CO2.

Over-all, this is a good gun, let down by its pellet-handling ability. I would assume tolerances get finer and weapons fire more accurately the higher in price one goes.

In closing, if you are looking for a pistol that handles pellets, look elsewhere

Bought this pistol today. Shot through all the included ammo and 10-15 clips more. Used a total of 4 co2s. The first having enough remaining for at least one possibly two more clips. Shoots great. Consistancy is my favorite part. It shoots with great power and i would say 6 or 7 of each clip right where i want them already. Reasonable price, muzzle velocity and dual ammo capability make this a great starter gun.

    Slight leak

    By Anonymous

It is a great gun. Shoots pellets and bb's no problem. Have used 50+ co2 's and it has started to leak a little. It sounds like it leaks at the part where the co2 enters the gun. It hisses every couple seconds that last for half a second. I think it leaks where the co2 goes into the gun because I can't hear it when I put the side panels back on.

    1088

I've had mine for a few months now. Bought it to replace my old 1008, which still works great after I have no clue how many years. Used about 20+ co2's so far and it's never let me down. Only problem I have is the bb's don't want to stay in the clip, but I like pellets much more any way lol.

It's a little shorter than the 1008 but still has nice range for a co2 handgun.

Today I taught my 8 year old daughter how to shoot it. Like someone stated before me that the trigger is a little hard to pull for little hands, reminder it's not made for kids, I feel it helps teach them how to squeeze the trigger and helps stop unintentionally discharge.

EASY to load and change co2's.

Picked up the holster yesterday and fit's great and can use to hold spair clips, 1 co2 and 2 PBA ammo containers(1 refilled with whatever I feel like using) Clip pouch is a little tight with all that :P

    1088bak

I just bought this 1088BAK as a replacement that lasted only 30days (diferent maker). I like this gun, with full size feel. The reloading is a snap for both the CO2 and ammo.
Wow, both pellets and BB. That's nice and should be available in every BB pistol!
I have one very very big problem with this pistol. My 7 year old daught loves to shoot BBs with me in our indoor range! She loves it! But she can't use this gun! Why, OMG, why did Crosman make this gun with such a heavy trigger Pull??

i bought the first one back in october of 2011 and love it. the fact it shoots both bb's and pellet's are a plus. just bought my other one in january of this year and both work so well. this is one of those guns that you just would never get rid of or sell. i have had nothing but success with both of mine and deffentally keeping them forever. the co2 is easy to install and the 8 round clip is very easy to reload. buy extra clips for faster shots and more fun. i hope this review was helpful.
