Very accurate, but needs work!

The Good: Very accurate at 10 meters. Steel breech. Adjustable trigger pull. Adjustable rear sight. Lots of shots per cylinder. Good weight and balance.
The Bad: The trigger over-travel adjustment screw is in the way. Shoots a tad high at 10 meters with rear sight adjusted all the way down.
The Ugly: Very gritty, crusty, crunchy trigger pull!
I removed the trigger over-travel adjustment screw because it made my grip very uncomfortable. I polished the trigger and sear; still the trigger pull remained very crusty gritty. The trigger pull adjustment screw gives you a light or heavy crusty gritty trigger. The problem lies with the spring and the way it interfaces with the sear. Crunch and grind! I removed the spring and trigger pull adjustment device and installed a modified Crosman 1377 hammer spring with a polished empty 22 caliber shell casing facing the trigger sear. Bingo! No more crunch and grate! The trigger is now smooth and steady. I installed a red dot sight and I'm getting dime sized groups at 10 meters. Sweet!
Though mine is not a custom shop gun, I expected a better sight and trigger, especially since it is marketed as a match pistol, although a trainer. The addition of the trigger pull adjustment screw is a step in the right direction. It is an OK pistol out-of-the-box. But it is real gem when worked on a bit.
