Simple and affordable. You get what you pay for. 1 CO2=5 magazines average. Make sure to use Crosman's special oil when loading CO2, this will ensure the full power of the CO2. When its time to fully seat the CO2, get it to where its snug and position your hands so that your puncture twist will be most efficient or quick as possible. If you twist too slowly you will lose a lot of air. When loading mags load 18 BBs MAX, any more will likely cause jams and misfires. Load the mags with a 1-2 click carefully, this will also prevent jams and misfires (and prevent from damaging mags). The dispersion is exceptional but I wish it were more accurate for the price. If you buy the C11 I recommend purchasing the following: Crosman's special oil, 2x2pk spare mags, (plastic mags are far better than the metal mags for BBs), and find a walmart that has a 40pk of Crosman CO2 ($20avg-best deal {Crosman CO2 works best}). Don't forget to get targets and safety equipment.

This gun worked very well until the Co2 started running out very fast and now I am lucky to get 1 clip off. Otherwise it performs well

    Great toy

I grabbed one of these 3 summers ago now and it is still shooting great. I can do a 2" grouping at 25 feet with every shot. I don't find the shots trail away at all. The co2 is tricky but once you get the hang of it you can do it with out loosing much gas. It will easily shoot threw a beer bottle at 25 feet.

    Not pleased

    By D.R. Hanson

    2014-05-22 12:03:58
    1) A slot in the front of the BB clip behind the trigger is large enough for a BB to be caught and lodged if the gun and clip is not empty when removing the clip. The lodged BB will still allow the clip to be installed but will not release BB's into the chamber. As a result, the clip will be difficult to remove. 2) The handle covering the C02 cartridge slides off at the most inopportune times like picking it up without grasping the entire grip with fingers wrapped around the front. As a result I used a wide strong rubber band to retain its correct position. 3) When installing a new C02 cartridge it takes 1 to 1-1/2 more turns of the clamping/retainer screw (poorly placed and thumb screw poorly sized) after piercing the cartridge seal in order to seat the body to seal thus loosing about 20% of its charge and up to 50%. The operating mechanism is designed well, is fairly accurate, trigger pull is too long would have preferred hammer pull and lock for shorter trigger pull which would promote a greater degree of accuracy. Most things excluding operation were haphazardly designed. Fix1) Decrease the slot width inside the clip chamber. I used tooth picks to prevent the BB from entering the slot. Fix 2) Lock the sliding CO2 cover in place. Fix 3) Decrease the length of the cartridge piercing device equivalent to one thread of the clamping screw or increase the thread pitch and provide greater leverage for the seating/retaining screw so it doesn't require so much effort and number of additional turns to continue the piercing until the cartridge is seated.

    Trigger iffy, otherwise good

    By Anonymous

    2014-03-28 13:40:09
The trigger pull is long and hard, and gets harder the farther you pull it back. The gun has a long spring that pushes the barrel assembly backwards. When you pull the trigger, it pushes the barrel forwards, so with this design that's kind of what you'd expect. I don't have a way to measure it, but trigger pull is easily 12 pounds. Out of the box, my trigger was very gritty, clicky and inconsistent. It felt like a 4 stage trigger (lol). I took it apart and filed some of the trigger parts down and sanded some stuff. Now there is one click that is unavoidable because of the design, but overall it's much smoother. I also painted the front sight so it would be easier to see. Accuracy for my gun is pretty good. From 21 feet 85% of my shots are within 2 inches of the X (the other 15% is probably just me). I haven't had any other issues with it and now that I fixed the trigger a bit, I like it pretty well for the price.

Very poor accuracy. Even from a solid platform the shots stray all over. Would return to Wal-Mart, but not their fault this is poor quality. Might contact OEM (Crossman) and see what they recommend..

    C11

I just purchased my C11 at a military exchange. I purchased it to shoot for fun in my garage. When I put the CO2 cylinder in, I lost a lot of gas. This need a redesign. I have a crosman pellet pistol (357) that doesn't have this leaking when loading the co2 cylinder. The performance of my pistol was very good. It fired every time and is pretty accurate. I was shooting at about 25 ft.

    great gun for price

    By Anonymous

    2013-11-13 02:19:27
I bought the C11 a few weeks ago and have been shooting around the backyard every day since. The accuracy is not what I had hoped for but its still a fun toy around the house. It has yet to misfire or jam. Every bb I put in the clip comes out the barrel. The clip hasn't broken or fallen out.

pros: loud and powerful, price, easy to use, plenty of rounds per Co2

cons: Co2 cover slips off easily, bbs trail off in random direction, and I have the defects that were mentioned above to look forward to. fingers crossed that my gun is the exception.

I bought this pistol for my son last Christmas. We have shot the heck out of it!! No problems at all! Very accurate, and the power is great! I see some of these reviews say that it leaks CO2. Guess y'all got a bad gun?? One bad apple doesn't ruin a whole bunch!

    Turn Great into Trash Quickly

    By Anonymous

    2013-11-01 16:33:26
At first, this bb gun worked perfectly. To install co2 you have to quickly turn the screw until it stops hissing, which is actually very easy once you get the hang of it. However, today i went out to experiment to see what this gun could do to a disposable camera. I put the co2 in perfectly, and put in a full magazine. After the first couple shots, the metal piece that comes out of the barrel and then goes back in when you shoot got stuck outside of the barrel. I was worried so i pulled the trigger a few more times but then the gun started buzzing or vibrating for a long time after a pulled the trigger once. I quickly unloaded the gun, took out the co2, and put the gun on safe. I tried again later but the same thing happened. The gun is broken and cannot be fixed by crosman and i only shot it a couple of times before it broke.

Just got this 2 weeks ago and so good so far I brought it to get back into shooting and get used to handling weapons again before i get my firearms licence. I agree that the grip slides off to easy and can see that the mag catch is not the best but for me it seem to be accurate enough I can hit a red bull can at 10m shot after shot I do find when shooting targets the sights are a bit high but for the price its better than i expected.

    PIECE OF JUNK

I have bought this pistol at my local walmart. I took it home and read the directions and then installed a c02. It leaked the whole c02 canister in under ten seconds. This is a piece of crap. I would NOT recommend this pistol to a friend.

I bought this pistol from Cabelas for about $50. For the price, it's a great buy. If you want lots of power and more precision then expect to pay a couple hundred. I don't know what some of these people are complaining about, it's a cheap gun, you get what you pay for. I purchased it to practice and maintain my trigger control while i'm away from my 9mm. It works great for that. Plus, I find that it is pretty accurate at 20-25 feet for such a cheap bb gun. I get about 5-6 magazinzes per CO2 cartridge. It took two shots at about 15 feet to break a wine bottle which it pretty powerful for such a puny gun. I don't expect it to last forever but i'm had it for about two weeks and it's great so far, lots of fun! wish I had one like this when I was a kid! Next I'll try to take out that annoying crow that is bugging my cat! If you want a cheap but fun and semi-accurate bb gun, this is a great choice. :)

What a great pistol for fun and target shooting, I thought. Not to many mags of bbs later, started jamming and leaking bbs. HUH? Then I find out the mags don't go up high enough and the bbs leak, OH Well. Back to the drawing board, just got to have some fun, not much after NY state went anti-gun crazy some more!!!!

I bought this gun for christmas fomr my GF so she could shoot targets. Today was the first time she actually got to shoot it and after about half an hour using the thing the magazine broke. It no longer holds BB's I know that you want to sell spare clips but if this is indicative of the quality of your products it really is poor.

    weak!!!

    By Mike C

    2013-03-20 15:31:44
I bought this gun hoping it would be super powerful since the gun's maximum shooting distance is 480fps was that bad information the gun is poorly made the cheap typical plastic makes it seem like a toy and the co2 keeps leaking out probably because how crappy the bb gun is made it's seems less powerful then what the discription said. Everytime i shoot a target with the gun it feels way less then 480fps more like 250fps it takes more then three shots to crack a glass bottle this is the worse co2 gun i ever bought the plastic needs to be a lot stronger when it comes to making co2 bb guns. thank god i used a gift card instead of my own money.

    DO NOT BUY!

    By EsSquire

    2013-03-18 17:41:53
Out of the package I noticed the grip is flimsy and loose. The Magazine is poorly designed and the release button is very sensitive. I loaded 8 bb's initially and it certainly fired but missed the target completely; the sites are waaaay off. I then loaded the clip with more and it jammed. Now clip won't come out. TOTAL PIECE OF GARBAGE! Not even worth the money. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK! Spend a few extra bucks for something else.

    C11 Pistol

    By Bike

    2013-03-09 21:26:59
I purchased this pistol for some aiming practice while at home. I performs perfectly and is accurate and quite powerful. I like this gun a lot. I get six magazines from one CO2 cartridge (108 shots). I load 18 BB's in each magazine (don't try squeezing more than 18 or a BB might jam in the magazine). The DOA trigger is a bit stiff & notchy, but don't forget this is only a $60 BB gun.

    Tips for long gun life:
    - Make sure to put a drop of Pellgunoil on each CO2 cartridge before inserting it into the gun or you might ruin the rubber seal. This also lubes the mechanism.
    - Remove the cartridge when finished to keep the rubber seal from getting compressed.
    - Don't load more than 18 BB's in each magazine.
    - Keep finger/thumb away from the magazine release button while shooting or you can drop the magazine out of position and no BB will fire and might jam the magazine.

I love how this gun feels and looks. The clip jams, and also lets bb's float around inside the gun. Half the time the bb's won't even come out. Am very disappointed. The woodpeckers are peckin on my house and making lots of holes. The sound does scare them away, but I was hoping to actually get to use it on targets and cans.

This gun is powerful, accurate, and fun To shoot.. I have yet to have any issues with this weapon... The only drawback is the small mag. But the extra
Mags are inexpensive!! To sum it up I love this gun and would recommend it to anybody!!!

I just bought the Crosman P10 which is exactly the same gun as the C11. I didn't check the reviews or I wouldn't have bought it. However, if you're an experienced airgunner you'll know to take it easy with this gun. I had all the same problems at first. The magazine will break if you don't use the release button correctly and you have to get the co2 cartridge punched quickly to get a fair amount of shots. I'm only getting about 20-25 shots per cartridge. DO NOT LET A YOUNGSTER PLAY WITH THIS THING!! This gun shoots 480fps and that is extreme for the distance you shoot it! BBs richochet horribly unless used with proper trap. I don't recommend this gun at all. The Crosman 357 co2 revolver is worth saving your money for and will last forever. The 1377 American Classic is the ultimate pump pistol and the Crosman 1077 co2 rifle is a high quality and reliable purchase. All are under $100!

    JUNK

    By Dant2590

    2012-08-04 20:54:45
In 4 months, I will have the gun a year. I haven't used it much. I bought it to take a shot from time to time at the wild cats that are in the woods next to my property to keep them away from my yard/dogs. I may have used the bb gun 15 times. And on about the 15th "reload" , the magazine started falling out. I tried holding it in, but trying to aim and hold it doesn't work.

I liked it the first 14 times I loaded it. Now it's been moved to the trash can. WASTE OF MONEY!!!! I would give it a NEGATIVE 5 STAR RATING!!!!!!! Yes, it was only $30. But I buy lots of products for under $30 and they actually work longer than 5 months. Very disappointed.

Same prob. Magazine catch broke. That's how I got it for free. Took about 30 minutes to put in a new one. Just look at the exploded diagram on the Crosman website to see how everything goes together. Took 30 minutes only because I had to take it back apart. The trigger return spring had slipped off & I didn't notice. Part is a couple bucks. Order 2 or three & you'll be set. Fun pistol to shoot. It has lead weights in it to give it a more realistic feel. Def worth what I paid for it. Have $16 in it. That's for 1500 BB's,Tube of oil, 2 mag catches, 1 mag catch spring & S&H.

Had the gun for about a month now... Did fine for awhile and thought I had a reliable gun but just loaded it today to shoot and noticed a problem... the clip wouldn't stay in anymore... not sure what to do. Try and fix it myself, send it back or just keep holding the clip in with my hand. Sounds like this gun has a design flaw and many people have that problem with their gun. -sigh-

I had high hopes for the Crossman C-11 after reading various reviews. I bought it along with a holster, box of CO2, can of BBs, and the laser sight that attaches to the rail. Woo hoo! I was set to go! Oh, I also bought two extra clips, but had to return them because they wouldn't eject easily. I've had no problems with the included stock clip. The CO2 loading was kinda awkward for me and I wasted gas with every change. The trigger pull is rather long and vague for my taste. The really bad news is, mine shoots very low and to the right, so much so that I can just barely compensate for it using the laser site (which does not show up in daylight). The accuracy is terrible at 10 meters for me. I spent a pretty penny on the bundle and now it just sits. Perhaps I expected too much for a pistol in its price range. I should have bought the 2240 instead. D'oh!

    Good for a while

    By New Man

This is a fun gun for a while. The magazine catch broke after about a month. It is just plastic, and the part fractured so that it will not hold the clip. They really do need to make that part out of metal. . I didn't see the problems with the seal as with some other brands. The seal is fine, but I remove the gas cartridge after use, I usually shoot it all up at one session and then take the cartridge out. I do not store the gun with the cartridge in it. But I surely wish they would upgrade the magazine catch to metal.

    Outrageous Fun for the Price.

    By Jess Johnson

    2012-04-22 00:04:37

For the price this pistil is outrageous fun. Sounds and feels great. After the first couple of rounds and some oil the pistol fired all the time every time with no issues. I can get 18 rounds per clip. Extra clips slide in and out super fast. I would not use this for target practice. The target needs to be the size of a basket ball to hit anything at 50 feet but I am having a blast unloading 18 rounds as fast as I can pull the trigger poOutrageous Fun

    An Average Gun.

    By Chase Moss

    2012-03-30 18:18:51
This gun is good for shooting and having fun with with your friends, but that is about it. It has very poor accuracy. Also, the magazine, after constant use, will wear out. It will stop feeding ammunition into the gun. Those are the only problems I have experienced with this gun, and if you are careful and treat it well, it will last you a very long time.
I would recommend this for people who just want to have fun with a CO2 gun, as that is pretty much all it is good for.
    Overall, a pretty okay gun.

I liked this gun very much, that is until i started having the clip problem as everyone else did. Now when i load in my magazine i have to tape it and use my pinky when firing to push it all the way up (taping it doesn't push it far up enough.) Accuracy is all right. After around 3-5 shots you'll get the bullet exactly where you want it; if you're lucky you get it on your first shot

    C11 Pistol

    By Showmetheway

    2012-02-26 06:17:31
Fun to shoot. Accuracy while shooting at target pinned to a Crosman BB/Pellet Trap was acceptable for free hand at 10 to 25 feet.
Jams or misfires are frequent if you desire to shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. If you have a misfire
don't keep shooting drop clip and remove loose BB. If you don't drop clip, and remove the loose BB you will just be shooting air.
I hope the plactic clip holder hold up as I am having fun with my C11.

Magazine catch fails to retain magazine...magazine will not lock into place

    By Wes

    2012-02-05 13:46:36
Had this pistol for a short while and I used it in my backyard as a means for pistol practice. Several months after I got it the magazine catch failed to operate properly. It will only retain the magazine if I hold the button in place. At this point I feel it is unsafe to use the gun in this state as who knows what may happen. I would not recommend this product at this time.

I bought a big bulk pack of co2, about 12000 bbs and the Crosman c11 at the sporting goods store the other day. after about the first week of shooting it was doing great and I loved it. Today when I went to shoot it the gun would skip every other bb. so i would have to release the magazine to let out the un fired bb then insert it back in for every shot.

At 64 this is the first bb gun I have purchased Nov. 18, 2011, and so far this has been a fun gun with very little problems. I have had a little problem with the bb's coming out of the clip when loading it into the gun. Crosman sent me a new clip right away and I found it easy to just take a paper clip hold the spring open with that, and then remove the clip once the clip is in the gun. Not the most accurate but a real lot of fun to shot at target's and squirels.

    Crosman should know better

    By Snowman the trucker

    2012-01-02 19:22:50
The c-11 feels good and looks ok ,but the plastic parts in vital areas (co2 handle, clip lock) really caused a problem. After all their years making pneumatic guns, crosman should know that a gun that is made poorly is a dangerous gun.The co2 screw was way too tight and lost a great deal of co2 before i could tighten it down. Also a gun with this much power should also shoot pellets-The manual clearly states that the c-11 is not a toy but, crosman thought it should be made like one.WRONG PLACE TO CUT CORNERS GUYS!! Plastic is ok for cap guns and toys but not for bb/pellet guns.

Nice Pistol with one major flaw

    By John

    2011-12-29 00:41:52
I like this gun. It has a good feel, good weight, performed well. But only after half a dozen target shooting sessions, the clip catch broke. I noticed that the clip would not stay in and found the plastic part had shattered. Crosman needs to either make that part medal or redesign as I am one of many who have had the same part fail.

    Powerful Str8 Shooter

    By STI 45

    2011-12-27 20:04:36
I purchased this Co2 powered BB gun to use for target shooting practice. Ammo selection does help the accuracy of this pistol. Ironically the suggested Copperhead ammo is far from being good quality and that did have an adverse affect on shot groups. In regards to the Crossman C11, it is a great product at the price point. The trigger on this gun is very good. Smooth, breaks consistently and probably maintains between 4-6 lb trigger pull. The fixed sights are on point. When shot from a bench it hit the target every time. Co2 life is really good. I was able to compare the C11 with the Colt Defender air gun. The Defender cost 40% more. It weighed and felt like a real handgun more than the C11, but the co2 didnt last near as long. Likewise it didn't shoot as fast as the C11. Ultimately the C11 was the better choice. In the end, I have been able to improve my time splits in target shooting with my .45 with only two weeks of training with the C11.

    C11 Pistol (.177)

    By Anonymous

    2011-12-14 19:10:45
From the very beginning, the grip cover would not stay on. I tried different things to "shim" it so would grab, but no luck. Then, I had repeated issues with the gun jamming. I realized that the mag release was so sensitive that if it was bumped at all it would release the mag but only part way. Every time I picked it up I had to check if the mag was seated properly. Even laying the gun down on the same side as the release was enough to cause a problem. I've never had a co2 gun before, but it makes sense to me, if you are depending on the gas as a propellant, it should be air tight. That was my final problem; it leaked out the co2.

    Just a toy

    By Pete

    2011-12-03 14:14:05
This pistol is basically a plastic toy gun that shoots bb's. The grip cover slips off so I wedge paper in there to tighten it up to keep it from falling off. The location of the magazine release stinks because if you hold it tight your hand will click the release and the clip will move out enough so you cannot make a shot because the bb's will not load. It's fun for plinking and chasing squirrels away (they run when they hear it anyway). The accuracy is non existent. You can watch the bb's as they leave the barrel and they will curve in any direction. If your more than 20ft away from a target forget it. I would not recommend this pistol at all. Save your money and get something better. Maybe a pump pistol or if you really want a co2 then find something made out of metal.

I haven't had any jamming issues, although the spring in the clip seems to not lock as well as the extra clips I got. Not really an issue. Power seem s good though I agree it may not be as powerful as advertised. If my Pumpmaster 760 is 600 fps, then the c10 is not 480. I'd say that it has the power of 5-6 pumps on the 760. It also is not at all accurate beyond 20 feet. You can see the bb's travel different directions on each shot, why not a rifled barrel? Of course I'm new to airguns so i guess because it doesn't shoot pellets?

    Great Pistol

    By KamikazeNinja

This is a great pistol, sturdy construction, well made, have not had any problems. Excluding some minor things, this pistol is nearly perfect.

Pros: Good price. Well made. Great range. Great power. Great accuracy. Large clip capacity. Comfortable. Useful accessory rail. Safety can't be easily switched.

Pro/Con: C02 cover easily comes off.

Cons; A little light weight. Not all metal. Not a blowback.

To sum it up in a few words, it's worth the price.
