This was my first air gun and I am very happy with it! First off all the gun is super accurate and it looks amazing. you can can about 60 shots out of a co2 cartridge. The guns quality is other than the fact that the grip is plastic. The clip holds 10 pellets witch is good, the guns weight is great and it makes the gun feel better in the hand but you might get tired after shooting it with one hand. Overall this is a great gun and I defiantly don't regret buying it.
A Lot of FUN for the Price!
Got this gun at Academy today. After reading the instructions I loaded up for target practice. The gun is hard hitting and accurate. Not to mention a lot of fun to shoot. It is a great value for the price. Sights were off about 4" to the left at 35' and had to be adjusted. Co2 runs @ 60 pellets, this gun will never see bbs. Overall I loved it!
awesome airpistol! super accurate and power!
check out the extend review on my video.
definitely would recommend to friend!
I got one at Big 5 For 50 bucks and have shot 3 co2 canisters so far and I love it. I only use the pellet clip because it is a rifled barrel and steel bbs will just rattle around in the barrel. It has a big grip on it so it is good for large hands. I would recommend it.
The pistol worked ok with the pellets and the BB clip did not work well at all,the BB's did not stay in the clip very well,I will have to get more pellet clips because if not alot of time would be spent reloading. My grandson likes the pistol and with some more clips it will more enjoyable. All of these pistol need to come with at least 3 clips.
i like this co2 powered gun it is good for pest control me and my friends enjoy shooting this
Bought it from Walmart for 59.97 today. Came home and read manual, took it out and tried it. Great with pellets, not so good with steel bb's. Barrel has rifling, shouldn't be using steel bb's anyway! Very accurate! Only down side is trying to find more 10 shot pellet clips.(0407T) Have to order them, and shipping comes to a lot more than the clips!
Great Gun I Love It
I just picked this gun up at Walmart the other day and I absolutely love it. I had a different gun before this one and I didn't have to buy C02 for it. So the C02 was a little different than before so it took some getting use to. So what im trying to say is it s a great gun and I would recommend it to anyone

I checked numerous reviews before deciding on this purchase. First the shipping was quick and the item was well packaged. After unpacking, it was noted that the description and photos of the pistol are very accurate. It has a good weight to it and also easy to handle and hold. I have fairly large hands and a small person or youth with small hands may fine it a littler harder to hold. The existing physical description is very accurate and doesn't need repeating here. A quick review of the instruction pamphlet and I proceeded to remove the plastic grips to install a co2 cartridge (purchased elsewhere since the pistol doesn't come with one). Please remember to put the safety on by pushing the safety from the left to right position (as you face the back of the hammer) which also covers the red dot on the back of the left of the safety. The instructions indicate to remove the left grip by pulling up on the butt of the grip but I found that did not work well and finally got the grip to release by lightly pulling up with slight rocking motion on the upper half of the grip. The lower grip then simply pushes away with a finger. Do be careful because the grips lock/snap together with 2 narrow protrusions each of plastic on the inside of each grip. I used a partial drop of Pellgun oil on each when put back together and that helped considerably on the next removal times. You will need the oil for lubrication for the top of each co2 cartridge which helps maintain the seal in the pistol so you need to order that at the same time as well. Several reviews have indicated initial problems with installation of the co2 cartridge and I also had some difficulty. The first cartridge did not have an obvious air escape during the installation process and the tightening of the the thumb screw was difficult though the entire seating process which made it difficult to determine the pressure difference when actually seated to the proper depth. I chose not to force it and re-installed the grips. I then proceeded to open the barrel for installation of a magazine. Other reviewers experienced similar results - it is very hard to push down on the top release! In fact I had to use both hands and both thumbs on each other the first time I opened it. I immediately added a drop of oil to the latch area and opened and shut it several times before going on with the next step. Even then it was very difficult but did get better after a few tries. I loaded a magazine with pellets which takes a little bit of time (remember I have large hands). After loading the first one, I then loaded others with a Crosman pellet loader which is much easier, faster and cleaner. After installing the loaded magazine I went to an outside safety area that I have set up for sighting and target practice for my wife and I for various pistols, revolvers and others that we own.
Crosman did an excellent job of putting adjustable rear sights on this pistol and are needed if you want accurate results. In our situation we had to move the windage adjustment almost 3/32" to the right and raise the elevation adjustment about 1/8". Please be sure you loosen the left sight side screw before adjustments and tighten lightly after adjustments. The good news here is that the accuracy is amazing - we had several groupings (3 shots each) that were 1" or less at 35'. That is remarkable for the price range of this pistol and overall design. We were using .177 Crosman Supermatch Copperhear Pellets for overall performance, consistency and they are generally cleaner from lead flakes. Keep in mind this is not a powerful pistol - 435FPS, but it is still a dangerous weapon. It is very useful for training and practice purposes and overall enjoyable. While others have indicated they get from 70 to 100 shots per co2 cartridge, I have found that for overall performance and accuracy 50 to 60 is about tops. Again the pistol may take some adjustments, has an excellent design for shooting 10 pellets in sequence, and very usable but overall is a very good buy in the price range.
EXcelente arma de CO2

Barrel release stiff, way too hard to open! (And My Pro's & Con's)
By Dan Flemming
I just bought the Vigilante yesterday and was suprised to find I could "barely" open the barrel by pushing down on the barrel-release!
I'm a grown man and it hurts my finger with the amount of pressure I have to use to open the barrel.
I called a friend that bought one at the same time, and he has the same concerns...
But he got the shot groups tighter (pellets) by thourghly cleaning the barred (removes the grease substance for shipp in the rifling).
I will do that next.
Single & double action.
Weight & balance.
1) Barrel release VERY HARD to push!
2) Windage adjustment VERY far to the side (Come on Crosman! This shouldn't be that hard for you to align the barrel at the factory!).
3) 1 each BB & Pellet clip? (And store doen't have extra's).
4) Changing the CO2, you have to remove the grip using your finger nail to pry the grip off, then the other one falls off! (Slide down to remove would have been WAAAAYYY better than this cheap un-thoughful method).
5) Shot groups? Very poor! (15 yards bigger than 16"x16" paper target with BB's)
I would think Crosman would have come up with a better release system than this!
If this wasn't a problem, I would give it a better review.

Vigilante air gun
I like this gun, used it today for the first time. And its super accurate and shoots great. I like the fact it takes bbs for cost reasons and it is deadly accurate. And bbs shoot so fast and hard you wont want to put this one down.
It's quite simmilar to crosman 357. And as 357 it is also a realy goood gun. But it is not as loud as 357 so I have the impression that it is not powerfull as 357, but as I said it is good. !!
i just picked it up at walmart it is awsome i wouldnt change a thing it is super powerful for plinking and rodents i love the noise level it is so realistic i truly suggest this to anyone
Great gun for the price, the look of it its great stylish and is very precise!

I got mine and it works great! Just a accurate as the older one I had in the 80's. i'm getting about 70 full power shots per co2 and bought the extra clip pack, a must to have real fun. Great fore a back yard plinker. accurate at 65ft.range or less. Get one and you won't put it down all afternoon.
I just bought one its almost idendicle to the crosman 357 revolver I had as a teen maybe a tad bit lighter. I like the fact it takes bbs for cost reasons and it is a deadly acurate paper target plinker the bbs shoot so fast and hard you wont want to put this one down. The newer style grip feels better in your hands I just hope Crosman makes extra bb clips for it so I dont have to reload so much or ten shot bb clips would be nice if anyone is listening at Crosman.
Great Gun for the Price
I picked it up the other day and am very pleased with it. It gets maybe 60 shots of per Co2, and with pellets, it is extremely accurate. The rifled barrel means the pellets fly very straight, though the BB's have a tendency to curve a little. Reloading is a bit of a pain, but if you pick up extra clips, its not really a problem. I believe the pellet clip on the 357 is compatible with this gun as well. Overall has a good quality; it feels good in your hand, but there may be a little to much plastic for my liking.
Pro's: Accurate, good weight, extra clips are cheap
Con's: Grip is hard plastic and so is front end.
In my opinion, its overall a great gun,it shoots well, looks and feels nice, and it shoots both bb's and pellets. the only thing that bugs me is, note that this might only happen to mine, when I pull the trigger or pull the hammer down it make a weird winding noise, but it dosnt effect my shots or it performance. overall a really great gun and well worth buying..
It's ok, i just got it and in my 2nd clip of pellets, it acted as if it had run out of co2, but when i exchanged it, it released much air,
Vigilante air gun
Great gun! Super accurate and shoots great. You get about 50-70 shots of co2. Grip isn't rubber and co2 is kinda hard to put in. I would have given 5 stars but because of the cons I gave it 4.
