Although the airgun looks menacing enough looks can be deceiving.
Inaccurate at even 10yds. Laser is useless. CO2 cartridges leak and don't hold a charge.
Loading bbs is difficult.
When fired not all bbs ejected.
Avoid this gun like the plaque.
Crosman C11 Tactical
By Lee Isaacs
I bought this gun in a small air gun shop in the UK. I liked the look of it and it was nice and cheap.
Pros: Cheap. Very, very powerful for the money. I was very surprised by it's penetration power. Laser comes with it, (not the best laser but cool none the less). Extended barrel, (hidden by mock supressor) which improves accuracy and velocity over the original C11.
Cons: Very cheap feeling plastic. The Co2 cover is extremely loose fitting and tends to want to come off when you grip the gun. The Co2 tightening screw is a little too close to the grip and makes it difficult to tighten quickly. The magazine is a little unreliable. When you release the clip, 1 BB will always come out and fall from the magazine opening.
Overall it's good gun for a beginner. Very reasonably priced and shoots great. I can't stress enough about the power of this thng. More than impressed with it's velocity.

Bought about 2 years. Worked good for the first month or two, then would misfire, when I removed the magazine stray BB's fell out. Mag started to fall out so I bought extra ones, they fall out too. Retention lock seems worn out already with only a few hundred rounds out of it. Poorly built of low grade plastic. Very disappointed, I have several Crosman BB/pellet guns, some over 50 years old, most over 20 years old and are just now starting to have issues. After seeing the quality coming now (I also have a non-recall C31 pistol with some of the same issues) I have bought "D" brand BB/pellet rifles for my sons (2 beginner/2 higher powered) in hope of more reliability. Deeply disappointed, always loved my Crosman's, now not so much.
By C11 tactical pistol
I bought a c11 pistol a year ago. Less than a week later it quit shooting. The walmart salesman gave me another one. I have fired less than 200 rounds thru it. The clip falls out and the bbs jam inside the pistol. It is poorly built and cheaply built with a high price tag. Don't buy this product because you will be disappointed. I am still trying to send mine in for an exchange.
Absolute Waste Of Money
The bb's do not feed properly. You get about two or three shots and then a bb will get stuck. I've taken it apart four times to free the runaway bb's - then it happens again.
The shame of it is, it's my son's gun bought on my recommendation, with his hard earned money. I recommended this gun on Crosman's name alone. Hard lesson, name means nothing nowadays. It is garbage - expensive garbage.
I had bought the gun thinking that is wild be a reliable gun for pest control but soon realized how cheap the gun is. I ran about 5-6 clips through it before the clip broke along with the safety. To anybody wanting to get this gun I highly advise getting something else.

Had this gun for a while now. I bought the tactical version at Wal-Mart. I really only have 1 complaint. I bought the tactical version and when you remove the mock suppressor there main barrel extends into the suppressor. So you cannot remove the suppressor. You can cut the barrel. But this is my second pistol because I tried that, and don't recommend trying it.
All In all. Great gun, I bought it to kill rats. It works. 1 shot 1 kill.
Bought the pistol today.... disappointed...clip does't stay in place. clip lock does not work. The pistol is all plastic...very cheaply made for the money spent.
I bought the refurbished one. Hey it's only 30 bucks. I know it's cheap but there's something about this gun that makes you smile when you shoot it and just look at it. I ran about 5 co2 carts through and for the first 4 or so I lost a lot of co2 but now it doesn't hardly leak out and I just put 120 bbs through with no problem at all. Make sure you use pellgunoil or tranny fluid on the carts when you load. I have a problem with the magazine sometimes not staying locked but Crosman is sending me a new one. It's just plain to shoot.
it doesn't work!
I was so excited when I found this bb repeating pistol. And so disappointed once I tried it. The first 2 times I pulled the trigger, it definitely fired bbs. The third, and several times after, no bbs were fired. I released the magazine, saw that 2 bbs had been fired, reloaded the magazine, still no bbs fired. I tried to remove the magazine again and it would not budge, at all!! I could not remove it, still can't remove it. The release button on the left side of the gun moves only a fraction of a millimeter, seriously. I am not about to pay S&H to send this to an authorized repair tech. Do I really trust that after it is returned it will never jam again? After reading some other reviews, there is a design flaw, or extremely poor quality control. It is going back to the store.....
The review site would not allow me to send this review without a star, so pretend that one star does not exist.
Good for entertainment, inaccurate and questionable durability.
FUN FUN FUN but you get what you pay for, (it's not a target quality pistol!) the price is right for entertainment value, and practice/teaching gun handling to novices without going to the pistol range. I like that it has a clip, unlike so many single shot types able to practice multiple shots at multiple targets or having more than one chance to hit a running rodent. Laser sight makes for a nice gimmick but is useless since you can't adjust the sights or the mount and thus you won't hit anywhere near where the laser is pointing. removed it and the detachable/laughable upper accessory rail the first day.
20 shots are fun but accuracy is poor even with a new gas cartridge and consistency is even worse, good luck hitting anything without compensating. Being a long time target shooter I could consistently hit a small tuna can at 50' with practice, a 6" diameter target at 100', watching where bb's hit and adjusting point of aim to compensate. Gallon milk jugs make better targets, so do large dry tortillas, feed the birds, lol. Steel BB's ricochet back at you frequently, watch your backstop, rocky dirt banks basically shoot back at you..
I bought mine 2-3 years ago, perhaps were better quality too, never have had a clip retention issue, but did break the plastic "supressor" off when i dropped it. (it actually does muffle the sound a bit) Durability, well not sure i should complain, by the time was through my first 2400 pack of bb's the clip wouldn't do a good job holding the BB's you have to release the tab slowly so it doesn't "squirt" them out the end of the clip. Now that I'm getting to the bottom of the 2nd 2400 BB container I'm having trigger problems, it doesn't catch whatever it needs to internally and won't fire with each trigger pull. Not sure what to expect as far as longevity anymore, nothing lasts like it used to, (I have a 30 year old crosman single shot pellet target pistol that only needs o-rings replaced) disappointing to have this one crap out in a few years but I suppose it has been worth the entertainment value. Unless there is something similar that has high capacity i wouldn't buy this again EXCEPT THAT IT'S MUCH FUN for the money if purchased elsewhere at a discount.
Loading the cartridge without losing a lot of gas is not easy, turning the screw alone does not work well at all, came up with a convoluted method, take up the slack in the screw wind both hands around so that i can get the most rotation, then turning the screw one way while turning the pistol the other way with the other hand in a very quick motion to not lose gas, and even then lose more than I like. I guesstimate close to 100 shots per cartridge, though velocity will obviuously drop towards the end, time to change the cartridge when you can see the bb as it flies, or just laugh because you can't hit anywhere near your target, again don't expect much more than entertainment with this choice of pistol.
Two bad gun in a row
I purchased my first C11 Tactical from Walmart. It failed within 3 months of very little firing. I wrote Crossman and they sent me a replacement. After firing the pistol for about 30 times the clip lock broke. It too goes into the trash.
my first co2 gun and i love it.
I bought this gun at a Canadian Tire for 149.99 ( Way over priced ).
When I took this gun out of the packaging and held it, I was immediately disappointed in the gun. It seems to be mostly plastic, and the "Quad" rail just slides right off the gun, and it also scrapes the side of the gun, it was horrible. So I went to Canadian Tire the next day and returned this gun, and then I went to walmart and Bought the Crosman 2240 for $85 Which is a MUCH better buy. I am much happier with the 2240 then the C11 Piece of crap.
The price is right but you get what you pay for it has couple small problems the clip is not that great but it works overall not that bad
this gun is epical!!!!!!
Better than I thought
My C11 has been a powerful piece, perfect for dispatching some of our invasive mongoose. The laser isn't that accurate so I havn't really used it too much. The cover that slides back to change CO2 cartridge is really loose, that's my only complaint. Otherwise a nice gun.
Some Good and Some Bad
I bought this gun to deal with late night visitors in my backyard. Wanted something that shot multiple times and delivered a puch. Bought for the FPS rating. Gun looks cool and feels good, but... I never could get the scope to line up properly after trying to fine tune the laser. Lost one of the screws out of the adjustment and now laser is worthless. The clip was a good thought. but instead of getting 18 shots its more like 12 because multiple BBs come out at once. The clip also does not fit tight into the bottom of the hand grip and now won't stay in at all. So can't shoot gun without holding the clip or putting tape on it or something. The rail is something I can live without. Without laser working the rail is better left off. Overall not sold on this and would probably get something different.
There are no batteries for the laser
I bought this little air pistol today because I wanted something fun to shoot at an affordable (re: CHEAP) price. The standard laser attached was a bonus - just what the wife could use (it is for her..my pistols make more noise and recoil ) for getting her aim perfected. However, when I managed to release it from it's plastic entombment I found that there were no batteries in the laser. OK..let's look at the aforementioned packaging and see what it says..Hmmm.. nothing...NADA. Not a single mention of the laser or, more importantly, the batteries required to light it up. Hey..the OWNERS MANUAL...yeah let's look there...again, not a mention...SO.... I came to THIS site hoping to find what batteries are required. Nope. I shall continue my internet search and should i not find the answer I'll return the air pistol. However, if I DO manage to locate the specifications needed and procure the power source I WILL give this "weapon" an honest review...
gun is great clips suck
the gun works and operates great the clips that come with it are whatcauses it to stop putting out bbs
buy extra clips and they work better the clip that come with it pushes too many bbs out so it gets stopped up
this gun stoped working after the first time. the bbs stoped shooting out more then afew feet. this is also the cheapest gun a have ever had. do not buy this gun.
Great target pistol
Lot's of fun and easy to use and load. Nice styling!
The CV11 Pistol
This is a GREAT pistol for plniking and just target practice, I'm in my late 50's and feel like a kid again when I go hiking and have it with me, What a blast!
save your money and buy the non-tactical version of this. the rail is junk, absolutely useless. the barrel shroud comes off but there is an inch of barrel sticking out of the end of the slide so it looks completely goofy. since those are the only differences between the two, i would be happier with the regular version of this.
