I'm a kid and had this for 5 years and I love that it's easy to pump great scope and bagged a lot of squirrels, snakes, and a bird. But anyways easy to use, quality for price, and fun.

The scope instructions were in 4 languages, but none of which was English. Also, it would be nice to find the manual for the rifle, but I only saw pictures to download.

    Recruit with scope

    By Alaskan

I bought this for backyard plinking and driving off moose that were eating my garden. It has exceeded my expectations in both the scope and accuracy. The scope is good quality and stays sighted no matter how I abuse it. The only problem I have with this gun is the clip. I think Crosman should extend the clip or make extended aftermarket clips available. I would like the ablility to not have reload after only five shots.
Overall a great airgun for it's price.

    sweet stuff!

this is an excellent rifle! the scope is great, it just takes a while to adjust to a specific preference. i would recommend to just put a target at home where there isent much wind bothering the shoots, and just shoot at the specific target, then gradually move the adjusters on the scope to get more accurate. the only thing that isent great about it is that the little adjusters don't have numbers on them, just little tick marks, so its hard to tell where to re-ajust. nevertheless, that's just a small con compared to all the pros! i love this riffle!

I got this gun as a gift and it lasted for 2 years and still works but the sights broke. Old things are better than new things

I bought the Recruit w/ scope specifically to address a group of rats who decided to take up residence under my back porch. Powerful, accurate, and easily up to the task of pest elimination. Now I am using it to plink in the backyard using bb's. Did I mention FUN? ! (I used pellets to take out the rats, btw).

Over all I love this gun, the only problem, the clip. It's hard to load and it takes longer to fire, with another crosman gun it would go so much faster and it wasn't co2.
I still really love it but thats the only problem.
