I recently bought the Crosman P9T, and was super happy to own an airsoft gun. Upon using it a few times i noticed that the magazine was sticking every few times I tried to unload the gun. I checked the Crosman website to see if there were any spare magazines that I could buy but there were none. Also after using it a few times I reread the manual and it said that the pistol is supposed to stop in the backward position to indicate that the magazine is empty but has not done that once since I've used it. Overall I think it is a good gun for a beginner, it was cheap, accurate, and shoots well.
I am beginning airsoft and I bought this gun for 20 bucks, It is decent and worth the money. But when I first got it out of the box I was a little hard to cock. Mind you I was eight. This gun lasted me years until I had to sell it. I believed that the spring wears out so buyer be weary, I think that the FPS slowed down and you need at least .20 gram pellets to shoot farther than 10 feet accurately but over all it was good. I just noticed the under barrel rail system before I sold it but it would be good with a Picatinny bottom mount rail system. I would recommend this gun to anyone beginning airsoft.
Can not get spare mags
Don't get this thing. Because Crossman doesn't make spare mags for this particular model
But if they ever make a spare mag for the stinger P9T
You can get it
The first day I got this thing I thought it would be cheap. But I was wrong. I used it in an airsoft war and out of the 7 people, I got 4 of them using only the pistol. Its a really good and accurate gun. WOULD RECCOMEND. PLEASE BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to say, this is a good gun for your money. Hasn't broken, and has been dropped once. Also the people putting bad reviews... there grammar is even worse! ;) Would recommend this gun, the only con/down side is that the bullet curves a little ; that can easily be fixed by using .20 bbs (optional.)
Dead accurate springer
By The gun dude
I've had this thing for an year , and it still shoots like a dream . If you purchase this gun , buy .20g bbs with it , don't use the .12g bbs that come with the gun cause they screw up the accuracy . It's so accurate that I could hit a coin from about 20-25 feet , I recommend you this pistol because it's worth the price and you would'nt be sorry when you've used this thing in a war . Great sidearm for CQB battles as well , buy it today and own your enemies!!
By cool guy
over all great for bb wars and target companions.
amazing truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best pistol ever
i have never seen i pistol more powerful than this one. it has also saved my butt a bunch of times i airsoft wars.
broke first time i cocked it
overall the gun you are getting what you are paying for so the construction is extremly cheap.
One of the best spring pistols i have owned.
COOL GUN VARY ACCURATE
ive had this gun for over two years now and not a single problem. fires straight and fast, enough fps to kill a possum! overall highly recommend this gun, i especially love the bb reservoir for quick reloads
good gun overall
this is a great pistol i had it for almost a year it shoots good inacurate but i was using .12 bbs and they have a big air bubble in them which makes them very off when shooting if you have an automatic or electric gun use .20 or higher weight .12's will break in your gun and jam in it and may break it so if you want a accurate airsoft gun get high fps and .20 weight bbs or higher i plan on buying another one my clip release broke when i dropped it :)
My first pistol and it works great! Doesn't curve up when I use .20g BB's.
Gun shoots amazing. Stands up to a lot of damage. The clip though makes a weird clacking sound when shook after awhile. Makes a good 'Backyard" sidearm.
hits pretty hard it
i got this gun and its the bomb its acurate it shoots good i never had a problem with it
I had this gun for 2 years and it still works. It is a little bit off for accuracy but it is a great pistol.
By stinger P nine T
I recently purchased this kit at wal -mart. I was super stoked at first because i thought it was semi-auto fire. I was going to bring it back untill i fired it a few times .Really accurate 15 to 30 feet .It shoots high and a little to the right . once i got used to it i was nailing bulls eyes (paper targets) .The fps is super for a spring air soft gun. Its friendly enough that i taught my 5 year old nephew how to cock and shoot it .Whoever wrote in the earlier post its hard to cock is wrong if a 5 year old can handle it .He shot better than i did I bought the extra P 9-T clip it holds up to 70ish bb's this is for the P9T.I have had a little trouble getting it to load at first you need to tip it upside down pull the bottom of the clip out shake it up side down . the one good advantage is the slide opening for speed loading ,much quicker than single load with the original stinger clip but even then sometimes only 3 to 5 bb's load. I like the feel of the original clip though as it balances the weight well .i can jam 16 bb's in the original clip and have one in chamber so really it holds 17 bb's that i know will fire for sure . fired .20 and .25 they go straight but not as far as the recommended .12 .It comes with a bag of 500 bb's i bought the tracers glow in the dark bb's 2000 super fun with the gel target (not included) under a black light . Im a beginner to air-soft and the only trouble ive had with it is the spring to drop the clip was sticking . I was using it outside , i got some dirt up in there i think. I just popped it out & cleaned it out ,seems to be working fine now releases the clip every time .The holster it comes with is belt friendly and it has a velcro strap to secure . i got my moneys worth im addicted and looking at rifles now cant wait to get a semi-auto / auto Crosman .this is a solid product safe, fun and learned about air-soft with it . go buy it !!
P.S i almost forgot to mention the rail under the trigger for red dot ,laser, or flashlight mount ...etc
This is a great gun and is accurate, a rare combo for this price. The holster stinks. This is a great gun. BUY THIS GUN!!!
One tough gun!
This thing is the toughest gun ever made! I highly sugest this for starters. My gun has been thrown out windows and droped on streets more then i can count. Once a caterpiller crawled in the barel, died and froze in a tree house for the whole winter. After the ceterpiller was removed it still worked (still smells alittle funny but you don't smelll the barel after all) I had mine noe for four years; never gave me a problem
I have bought many inexpensive pistols from Crosman and this one is my favorite mainly because of the fps and the clip that holds many bbs and I do have to admit that the accuracy on it is a tad off but when I'm using a pistol I'm not exactly trying to snipe. So this is my review.
when using 20 gram bbs it shoots better then my spring rifle, i hit a target about 2" big from 20 feet away perfect starter gun for its now price
I got this gun at Sports Authority for around 30 bucks. Now im just gonna say that this gun was worth every penny. Now when you first take it out of the box don't expect it to be shooting 1" groupings from 30yds. You must break it in first but once you break it in you can hit a small target from 100 ft. every time. And to everyone complaining about the accuracy, it's as simple as using a heavier weight bb. For example, when i use .12 gram bbs in this pistol, they seem to curve WAY up and to the right every time. I would recommend you use .20 gram bbs in this gun as they have been the optimal bb for me with this gun. As i mentioned you must break it in by putting about 1000 rounds through it before you get the pinpoint accuracy this pistol is capable of. I tried using .25s in this gun and you can drive nails with it but it drops drastically after about 20 yds. The power IS more than advertised. I chronographed this gun at right around 290 fps with a .20g bb! the gun is advertised at 275 with a .12g bb. 290 with a .20g bb is 375 fps with a .12! thats 100 more fps than advertised! The gun is quite easy to cock and is pretty durable considering i have dropped it quite a few times in the field of battle(it's my sidearm of choice). The external construction of this gun is all durable plastic with the exception of the steel trigger. however quite a few internal components are metal as i have taken this gun apart. The magazine is a double stack with a capacity of 15 rounds. the magazine is not very durable however. In conclusion this gun is very good if you are looking for a sidearm or just a plinker for the back yard.
Great inexpensive gun for beginners and some intermediate players.
Great starter gun
I purchased this gun a while ago. Recently the spring fell out. That was partially my fault because I left it out side so much. But other than that it is a great gun. I recommend it to anyone that is looking to get into the air soft hobby. Even when I am in an air soft war wit full autos and co2 guns, I will always have this one at my side
Perfect Gun. Use the right BBs.
This is a great gun. I started using it with 0.12g BBs and they flew straight up. Use 0.20g or 0.25g BBs. 0.20g BBs fly farther than 0.25g BBs, but 0.25g BBs leave HUGE (and painful) welts. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for the best spring pistol for the best price.
i have had this gun for 3 years with heavy useage and it only jamed once. it has great accuracy if you use .20 bbs. the gun itself holds about 12-13 in the mag and 80 in the resivour. great for any side arm carry.
Pretty Good Gun
I am very happy with this gun. The FPS is good and the chamber in the clip makes reloading much easier. However, this gun curves up a LOT. I would recommend using heavier BB's 'cause it will shoot with more accuracy. As for quality, I've had this gun for 3 years and it's still working fine. Overall, this gun isn't the best, but it is pretty good. I would recommend this gun for anyone from ages 9 to 12.
good gun. easy to cock back. high fps. only bad thing: it only holds like 15 bbs. overall good gun
Very good gun for a spring pistol
this IS a very good airsoft gun to fool around with but I wouldn't recoment it in airsoft war. I would suggest a gas arsoft pistol in airsoft war and here's why...when i first got it it was hard to cock. I bet it will get better once i get used to it like the airsoft M4 i had. But I should warn you that these guns WILL break if you keep them out in the sun.
do not buy this
bad acuraccy and and the fps instead of 275 its more like 50 and it curves more thene it gos straight
This is a good gun for the price. The acuraccy isn't the greatest. It likes to shoot up. This is a great gun for an airsoft war, it makes a good backup gun. It is easy to cock back.
This Gun Can't Hit Nothin'
When I purchased this gun I was so exicted about the FPS and good reviews. I was wrong. The BB of my gun goes straight for 10 feet and then curvesup like 30 feet. Not affctive a medium to long range. Despite all that, the FPS (Feet per second)is good and it is easy to cock back. Here is my ratings for certain criteria on a scale 1-5. FPS: 3 Accuracy: 2 Reliability: 3 Material: 1 The reason I gave material a 1 because all the compoents are plastic. Over all this gun is going to get a 2 on a scale 1-5
This gun is very good. Good for airsoft wars and etc. Only problem is that the stinger p9 and p9t are commonly mixed up and are thought of as similarly the same thing. Difference is that the p9 has a 80 round extra bb resevoir in the magazine while the p9 does not. In the display name up top it says ''Stinger P9" but what is shown in the picture is the P9T. But besides that everything about this gun is pretty good.
Reliable and really cool for ages ranging form 10-15.
