I had the gun for 3 months. Saw a flaw here and there but thought it was decent for a beginner. I should had known that you get what you get from... You can't go into a mid/far range battle, and spray. I tend do spray at ranges just to make sure I have a higher chance at hitting someone or something. I held the trigger down for maybe 10 secs, and the motor began making a drilling noise... I called customer service and they said to adjust the motor... When that didn't work, the lady said I stripped the motor and there was nothing I could do because the 30 day warranty expired... So yeah. Not worth buying if you plan on going far in battle or get trigger happy.

The best airsoft gun I ever had! It is the best gun for the price. I use .20 gram BBs and it is insane! It has the battery life of a mule. LOL. The rate of fire is amazing. It takes me 2 hours of non-stop shooting in my backyard. It rips through aluminum cans. It seems like it shoots more than 375 fps though. Overall great gun and highly recommend it for any airsoft player.

Don't listen to the other people! First this gun will barely fire 300 fps. Second the semi auto only fires 5 shots until you must wind the mag again. Third the hop up is terrible and the sights are too! I like ak sights but you have to look through the rails. My stock broke very quickly but I was able to fix it with tape. There is so much more too...

The R76 is hands down THE BEST CQB (Close Quarter Battle) Gun in the market. (it does have an effective range of 200ft accurate) Most of the bad reviews I read seem to be due to mistaken identity.

I own 2 DP80s and 1 R76 and planning to purchase another R76 (I own more different models, but thats beside the point)

The DP80 and R76 and very similar in appearance, especially if you don't own one. (reading the reviews, its seems people who DON'T own one feel they publish their "opinions")
And the first batch of R76s are almost identical to the DP80 until they changed little things like tri-rails and a different muzzle for the newer R76s.

Both units are replicas of the famous AK74u (the smg version of the AK47).

The R76 has a metal gearbox and will never have its gears stripped... the DP80 does have plastic gears and do wear down in time. (the DP80 is a good gun in its own right... I own 2)

So if anyone "CLAIMS" the R76 has stripped gears and fps goes below 200... that's a DP80 they are referring to. (DP80 fps is 275 with plastic gears. And ANY airsoft gun with stripped gears WILL NOT fire... again... don't believe opinions please)

*375fps - the perfect ALL AROUND FPS. Some people might say... well it doesn't go over 400fps. Which makes this gun the most versatile gun. In certain airsoft parks/games/scenarios... you are NOT allowed to use guns that go 400fps.
375fps is powerful enough for range/penetration, but legal to use in all scenarios.
*High Capacity - 500rds up to 600rds (600rd clip sold seperately) - this gun holds a lot of ammo, guaranteed to last at least an entire skirmish
*Retractable/Removable Stock - The retractable rear stock is a godsend, comfortable and versatile.
It is also removable for tight places or thick brush. (retractable for the Tactical version)
*Accurate - Yes, the gun is accurate provided you use 0.20 gram ammo. And has an effective range of 200ft (NEVER use 0.12gram, they cause dry fire and catastrophic jams... the firing piston will literally pulverize a 0.12g bb in the firing mechanism and seize up the gun... another reason for bad reviews... misuse)
*High Rate of Fire - it has a high rate of fire 600 rpm
*Tri-rail Picattiny - multiple options for scopes, mounts, etc..
*underbarrel Picattiny - I recommend installing a hand grip for the front rail to help support the weight and increase accuracy
*Price - best price for the best CQB gun in the market

*Metal/Plastic construction - The unit is metal where it counts, and uses heavy ABS plastic for the rest. The unit itself is heavy. I classify this as neutral simply because its a matter of opinion. (Some people like it heavy some don't). I use mine with a sling to help carry the weight. (sling sold seperately)


Buy this versatile and powerful SMG, and you will not regret it!
And when you do buy it... get an empty soda can and shoot at it on rapid fire. (its amazing... the soda can will disintergrate right before your eyes!)

(and to add to the confusion... there is an EXACT copy of the R76 NOT manufactured by crossman... this model have a plastic gearbox... I DO NOT RECOMMEND this "knock-off" as the plastic gearbox may fail you)

The first problem is there is No hop-up adjustmeNt, and if there is its EXTREMLY HARD TO FIND. My frieNd had this gun and I was staNding in the open, he was 20 meters away. He took about 25 shots and missed every single one. I could see the BBs fly off left and right. The ROF is decent, but with the accuracy of a dead elephant, it is useless. HELLO SLEDGEHAMMER

got this gun as my first when it was with the under-folding stock i never really liked it it had jammed a lot up to 6 times an airsoft war so it was an ok gun crosman isnt my favorite airsoft brand but they do work good right now i am on my 2nd crosman gun and am using the crosman gameface m4 s and i am thinking about purchasing upgrades for it like a longer 6.03 diameter barrel for more accuracy and longer range by the way if you take apart your gun right when you buy it and clean the barrel out with some silicone oil or other barrel lubricant it will improve your fps and fire rate slightly and also prevent the random shots from occurring so much so i would do that if you could and also does anybody know if it is hard to upgrade the m4 s but anyway i am thinking about trying to upgrade the pulse r76 but am worried it will not help and just be a waste of money

It's a very good gun, but could use some improvements. I have the old folding stock version and its great, but it could be easier to put the battery in. I've gotten pretty good at it as I have had the gun for over a year now, but at first I just couldn't figure it out. People are saying that its one of the best. Maybe for a short range and assault weapon, but the sights are a complete waste of space. If the barrel were 6 inches longer, it would be near perfect.

amazing gun. the only thing that is bad about it is the thind that clips on to the top to cover the battery is a pain in the butt to put on. you have to put the battery in a certain way.
besides that an extremely good gun. i've been really impressed. needs .20's though.

AWESOME GUN!!!!! although i must point out that the loading mechanism is kinda weird. it took me like 5 minutes to wind the magazine all the way but even then it didn't fire all the bbs. but still: AWESOME!!!!

this my friends is an extremly good gun. for years i had a begginers gun. single shot. and now iown at all of the people i play. overall i would recomend this gun for all people that want a very good, high RPM. GREAT distance(you can use it as a sniper if you have a scope) and overall durability. the capacity in the mag is good and i have the one with folding stock, so if your running, it is a good peice of epuipment. i have no plroblem with this gun and I HIGHLY RECAMEND THIS GUN!!!!

$100+walmart=awesome? Well with this gun it is so. The gun shoots amasing with .20 gram bbs. I didn't get a folding stock with mine, the on i have is detachable. If you get one like mine, BE VERY CAFULL WITH THE ATTACHING AREA!!!! It will breack off if you not carefull. Sadly for me i lost the attachment piece so I use duck tape to cover the hole. Crosman, make more guns like this, Cheap but well made.

i broke my shotgun so i went and bought this. the next day after charging it we were about to start the war. i shot one bb before we started and it wouldnt fire anymore! Maybe it was just that one but i do not think much of this gun.

This gun is just amazing. I have had it for nearly a year and i has held up very well! I highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for a good quality gun for a great price!!! It is a lot better then any one of my friends $200 guns! it is also a very powerful gun, much more 375 fps.

I got this gun for my bitrthday and i have to say its a good gun for Crosman. This gun is durable and has a good fps. But over all i would give it a 4 out of 5. One of your better jobs Crosman.

My dad bought me this and put it right next to me while I was sleeping, the first thing I saw was a magneficent gun. The only problem is the whole front of the gun is held toghether by a weak pin mechanism that caused the front of the gun to fall off. However its the best firearm i've ever used. don't blow your money on other cheaper guns because this is worth the price.

I just got this gun today, and it is amazing. The rate of fire is incredibly fast, and it feels good to hold. It is very accurate too, I was shooting exactly where I wanted from 60 yards. I am going to get the other Pulse r76 next, and hopefully, it will be just as good, if not better.

I got this gun from Walmart and it was a present. It was good for the first four months but then all the gears got jammed and the motor ate away at the plastic gears(con). I was using the crossman .20g bio bbs and doung everything correctly. But overall this is a very good gun and I would recommend it to everyone. Crossman is a good company and I have no clue why people hate on them. I give it a 8.8/10.

I was just playing at my friends with a bunch of other kids. You can snipe people form a good distance and the full auto is sick!! I was high in a barn and my friend put it on full auto from far away and I had to fall to the ground for cover. Sweet Gun

i bought this gun used from somebody selling it an an airsoft war, it is actually pretty amazing! the only problem is with Crossman .24Gram Ultra Heavy Ammo it jams sometimes, but other than that it is pretty beast. it became the standard gun of my team.

Ive shot G&G's J&G's all those brands it shoot just as good as all them. The wierd thing is the fireing modes go safe full semi but in the manul it says safe semi full.

I have had this gun for about two weeks now and I'm left breathless. At 375fps it competes right up with kwa and brands like that it cut a box filled with 5 inch thick stireofoam in half. It also has a decent rate of fire.

this gun will not break. Its very accurate to 40ft with .20g BBs. This probably one of the best AKs for its cost. Its very powerful, it will leave a welt on bare skin.This a great buy.

This is my second airsoft gun, my first automatic. My first war i went to i used this gun, i wrecked everyone!!!!!!!! This gun packs an insane amount of force and amazingly is super accurate!!!! I hate the ammo it comes with so i suggest getting crosman precision ammo it works amazing in this gun. overall the only problem i had was a little jam i got when shooting but after that it never happened again.

i got this gun about a week ago. i have had a few AIRSOFT WARS ALREADY. I got the one with the full stock and i noticed there was some priing diference with that and the folding stock. not really sure what it is but overall good STARTER gun. and if you use it enough like i will it should last a good six months to a year and buy that time u should get one for 200, but overall great starter!!!

It was a Christmas gift and it's really good

I got this gun for my birthday and loved it. It shot well, but now it's broken. The gears stripped out and now it's unusable. I spent too much birthday money on this gun to have it break so soon!

I got it for my birthday and it was amazing. I had it for about 7 months now and it still works like new. You need no maintenence. Feel is amazing feels like metal. I even painted it a digital camo and nothing got messed up. A LOT BETTER THAN $200+ GUNS!!!! : )

I got this gun at Walmart for $98. I owned one before and it was great as is my current one. Only problem is sometimes the bb's don't go into the chamber even when the clip is fully wound. I think it may be a defect cuz I didn't have this problem with my first one. I'm going to try replacing the clip as I think the spring mech may be defective. I am 100% satisfied with this gun tho. I added a red dot scope and a laser.

This gun is very accurate on semi-automatic and extremely fast when shooting on automatic but it is less accurate which is realistic. Also I showed it to my brother and he said that it was the fastest gun he ever shot! But the clip runs out fast so get more than just the one it comes with.

This gun is the best I have so far.Owner beware:after ten minutes or so, the gun would not shoot with the battery fully charged.You may have to adjust the motor of the gun a little to get it firing properly.After you have it adjusted the motor it shoots great.
*NOTE* Only use Crosman ammo it may not shoot cheaper brand BBs'.

rapaid fire rate. my brother has one and it is an ok gun. I prefer the full stock over the folding stock. My brother droped his with the folding stock and it one arm of the stock snaped. I would be ok about this ecept the stock arms are made out of white metal so we couldn't weld it in place so we just took the stock off. also the safty doesn't and never did work instead it just goes to full auto. the clips also break my brothers clip broke in the middle of a war at my friends hous luckly we went to dicks sporting goods and got a new one for $14.99. over all this gun is average and inexpensive i hope this review helps you shop. I have owned a jg m4a1 and a cybergun m4 carbine. They both had problems and I had to return them. I have had this gun for a year and a half and there were no problems what so ever. Good quality and accuracy. The rpm and fps are the best features, and it owns in airsoft matches. I don't know why people I now put some much crap down on this gun thinking its garbage because it is crosman but it is better than anything I have ever owned.

overall it has great fireing speed but it needs a larger mag and needs to be more accurate.

This is an absolutely all around great gun! It's fast, accurate at short to medium ranged distances, made of good quality material, and has never jammed on me once using Crosman 0.2 Biodegradable BBs. The only con, is that it's not very accurate at very long ranges, but using heavier BBs might solve that problem. Overall, a great gun, worth the money, and I would definitely recommend it!

if you are to get this gun definitly get the full metal version....the stock on mine broke 3 days after i got it, and i had many other problems with the gun body. as far as shoooting goes, this is a great gun. it shoots pretty fast and the accuracy is good, but the battery life isnt that long and when it starts running out of battery power the performance drops considerably. this is an ok gun but i reccomend that you spend 40 more dollars and get a higher quality airsoft gun
