By Its okay i guess
I like this gun. The mag size is good but the gun is not that strong. It's still pretty good overall. It was actually my first electric gun. For your first electric gun, I'd say to get this one.
Tac R71 Review

To start off let me just tell you, EVERYONE who said this gun is garbage, bad, sucky, or cheap, Is a liar. If you know how to treat something with care then this is the perfect gun for you. It might not be the best gun for field-play, but if you looking to start airsoft, I would recommended it to you. I've had this gun for about 2 years and, only because of my stupidity, the switch to change to automatic must be pushed down more if you want it to shoot automatically. The only thing I dislike about this gun is the mess up of the scope and battery. THe battery is actually where a clip usually goes but instead the battery is where the clip should be and the clip is just a little space in the cheap scope( I don't like the scopes accuracy). But there are really cheap mos that you do that will allow you to take off the scope and have a internal clip. The mod is no more than $10- 20 US. Everyone who said that this gun is bad can only handle full metal guns because if they can break something this durable( Its not REALLY durable, but i've dropped it a few times and the only thing that happen was the switch problem) then they are really careless or just irresponsible
This gun is OK, But very under power and does not have a fully functional sight if you are gong to buy a airsoft gun buy a spring power for the same price, yes its not fully auto but if has about 100 more fps This is a starter gun
I have had this gun for one day and it has no accuracy and the speed sucks. The battery is in the mag and it is already broken. The scope sucks and its made of cheap plastic. I would not recommend this gun at all
Great gun for beginners
I've had this gun for almost a year now, and still greatly enjoy it. The BB capacity is great, although you do go through a lot of them. It doesn’t shoot very far, and also not very accurate. I would definitely not recommend it for target shooting, but it works great for back yard wars. It shoots the bullets in rapid secession, just not very fast, which is okay if you are pretty close to your opponent. Over all, I really like this gun. It has its drawbacks, but also its rewards!
My friend has this gun and its pretty dang good for the amount paid. its very good at long shots while my crosman stinger s34p got him with this gun he was able to rapid fire on me. although you have to shake the gun to get the bb's out of the scoope a few times it just a pretty good gun.
Good Beginner rifle.
This gun is Okay For casual backyard play. But unless you're 2 feet away from your friends, you can't feel it very good.
I recommend something more accurate though... But this gun does have large hopper...
The scope broke and the ejecting button broke within a week don't waste your money
this a alright gun i guess. even though that it is totally meant for beginners, it can be a good gun. Pros: easy for beginners to learn. its a very easy gun to shoot, carry, and run with. it will be very good in a close quarters battle because you wont need to use the scope. The velocity is slow so it wont hurt anybody. cons: if you are a pro airsofter: i really dont recomend this gun. the battery dies in a month. if you buy this gun, i recommend getting a better battery with a better battery and preferably a better MAH. It will cost about 30 dollars for a good battery but it will last for over a year. just make sure that it in NICd and not NI MH, there is a big difference and it might not charge the same. Also never rely on the scope, its useless but you have to have it on because that is where it holds all the bbs. it does hold a lot of bbs though. i rate this as an average gun great for beginners bad for experienced airsofters.
this gun is ok for beginners but if you want to actually be well equiped in a fight, dont use this, the scope is useless and the battery dies in a month maximum. It costs 30 bucks for a new battery as well. its a good starter for a new airsoft gun and its easy to work, but you will need to move on from it soon.
this gun is horrible.i got this version 4 christmas and it didnt even work! so i got a refund and i got the undead apocalypes version now that is a better version so dont get the clear and black one get the zombiie version please
very poor design and build. the gravity feed system is terrible! you cant replace the optics on it because you would have to ditch the BB "magazine". It wobbles like a chicken on meth. the sight rail on the top moves independantly from the barrel. I do not recommend this gun for anyone! spend a little more cash and get something a lot better! Read the review by experienced airsofter it's a very accurate discription of why this gun is TERRIBLE! I'd give it -5 stars if I could.
By Corban Hooper
This was a good beginner's rifle, but it really stunk as far as the gravity fed hopper went. The scope does no magnify and has no crosshairs. Sometimes it jams, like, I took my brother on and he just had a pistol, and he sacked me! And also the battery life isn't that great. Only buy it if you are willing to buy a replacement soon after!
i just got this gun from walmart about 30 min. ago. i really like it alot.it doesnt really shoot that far but i only have backyard battles so its not bad really for me.if your like a pro airsofter you shouldnt get it but im still a beginner.bottom line good for beginners but not for pros :P
Good but not my Favorite
This gun is a good gun for beginner airsofters who dont want to spend a lot of cash. The gun has a good mag size and not too high FPS. The scope is not very impressive, but for begginers, this gun would be a very good choice.
not too good
I think that this gun has ok FPS for a starter aeg, but the accuracy isnt the best with .12 bbs. I didnt get a chance to try it with .20 bbs because the battery wouldnt hold a charge after a month of having it. It is a good gun if you want to plink around in the backyard and have a smal war.
By zulu 9-1
its not bad but it could be better. the gun makes a lot of noise. the 'silencer' wiggles. and the scope is utterly pointless other than the fact that it holds a heckuva lot of bbs. the gun is good at short-medium range and its a really good spray weapon. its light and easy to maneuver. basically its a good beginners smg.
fun but annoying
this was my first automatic airsoft gun. i liked it but what really annoyed me was you need to shake the gun alot to get it to shoot smoothly, i don't know if you do that with all automatics but it gets on your nerves. its range sucks. its unaccurate to its scope which is very annoying. so if you get this gun use it on the battle feid. it sucks everywhere else.
DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
This gun is very unaccurate. I can't shoot even shoot it over my fence, which is like 15 feet away. This gun broke and the sight is terrible. If you want a good gun buy the Crossman DP4
a kid`s point of view
By one kid
This gun is overall a good gun but i would not call it a great gun. because it has a scope loader and scope is not real and without the scope it has no such long range and the gun is so loud because of that .it is a intermedte airsofters gun
BAD DONT BUY!!!
My gun wont fire more than 1 foot after charging battery for 5 hours and most just fall right out of the barrell !
By poor machine
works ok for beginner, once battery goes so does the gun.

Terrible in literally every way
This gun is USELESS! Honestly!
It shoots maybe twice as far as a stock nerf gun, and is accurate to HALF the distance if you're using .2 bbs. However, if you use .2 bbs, it's 100 fps... Which is the same as a upgraded nerf gun. Useless.
It's gravity fed, the ammo is stored in the "scope" which means that it makes lots of noise while moving and doesn't feed reliably. The battery is in the clip, which doesn't store bbs, and is a very low quality battery that you can't buy more of. This gun is worse in an airsoft fight than the $10 crosman stinger p311, no joke.
The quality of the build is terrible too, the plastic is shiny on both the black and clear versions, and you feel like you could crush it if you tried. It weighs less than the stinger p311 too, which is a pistol.
Nerf gun range
Nerf gun accuracy
Almost Nerf gun FPS
Battery will wear out and you can't get new ones, and doesn't last for long
Gravity fed, so lots of noise and doesn't feed well
Scope barely helps you aim, it's like a Nerf scope
Expensive for what it is
No changeable hop up, so it has no range
It's just bad

Ive owned battery, and spring powered air soft guns and rechargeble is better. no way this gun is 200 ft / second. but i do beat up my friens at close range with this thing
At first I was so frustrated because the bbs wouldn't load but then I read the manual and figured it all out. I don't like how you load the bbs in through the sight overall good gun
By airsoft mongor
with out that scope the mag size is terrible and jams frequently but other wise i like it
this is my4 air soft gun i no i sound noob but no the 4 guns are all i need the shot gun is med range my sniper long tgun make long range and se the longer barrle than most au is just fine bey 200 fps but thaonland this one it is great the only down side is that it takes for ever to charge and is so loud
This gun was HORRIBLE!! The required bbs simply plopped out of the barrel of the gun. Do not get this gun!
Sorry Crosman but i do love the pulse r76!
Well I'm in no Position to say much because it's my first gun. For a beginner it's great because I play in my backyard so most of the battles are close combat. I'm not the biggest fan of the scope, its much better then the other designs but hip firing tends to be more accurate to me, another problem I get is when I use semi automatic every second shot doesn't come out, that's not to much of a problem because i just us full auto and take single shots instead. Good Job Crosman.
i like this gun but i cannot find the amprage.
This gun is good......its a great starter gun, the only con is it doesnt really hert( not really any airsoft does) but its good for its price but its poor acuratcy but good if your not in a feild if you know what i mean........this gun is a starter gun...... sparton out.....
Horible Gun, But good for the money.

This was my 2nd AEG (Automatic-Electric Gun - Airsoft term) and, though it was better than my first, it was not what you might hope for. I couldn't find the hop-up adjustment anywhere and to this day I'm still trying to find a good use for the hopper-scope. I can say that the hopper-scope is more advanced than other models. It has a tube for you to look through to aim instead of only holding BB's. The gun almost never jammed, but the mechanism will if you use Semi-Auto incorrectly. Terrible range and FPS, will eat up expensive .20 BB's, and comes with a mock silencer which does a little for the sound and greatly reduces range and FPS. The stock is very fragile and pretty floppy. Has a cocking bolt for looks. Being a movie-maker, I liked that. I overcharged the battery a couple times so now it won't work. You can probably get either a smart charger or a few spare batteries off e bay. For the movie-maker, looks great in black, lots of customization. Perfect for the SWAT team or remove everything for the mob boss look. For experts and competitors, I recommend this gun ONLY for indoor CQC MAYBE. For the backyard warmonger or Walmart shopper, this is probably a good start to eventually work your way up to a pro load-out with an AEG of $100 or more. Also, if you don't like the pistol grip, you can remove it by removing the pin, then silencer, then rail, then sights, then it slides right off.

really good gun it looks like the mp5 without the stock and suppressor '' mp5 is my favourite gun in da world '' very accurate holds lots of bbs over all fantastic gun
It's a great starter gun. Easy to under stand. Good mag size. Accurate. But if your looking for range and high fps, this isn't your thing.
It seems okay. I've had it for a week as a birthday present. Even though with 200 FPS, its accurate with close- range target shooting.
