Beaver Fever March 3, 2011 Hunting, Shooting Twitter0Facebook0LinkedIn0 Terry Tate despises beavers. Can’t stand ’em. They wreak havoc on the stock tanks around his Texas ranch by boring holes into dams and “can destroy a large lake in a few years.” So when he won a Benjamin Marauder .25 caliber at the L.A.S.S.O. big bore shoot in Oklahoma last year, the writing was on the wall for the beavers. The beaver in the photo above weighed over 40 pounds. The air rifle allows Terry to take a shot without spooking game, ammunition is less than five cents per round and the gun requires very little maintenance. Ready to hunt?
