John Klosenski, or John “K” as many know him, has been a manager in the firearms department of the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, Maine for nearly 30 years.  He has been a gunsmith for many years and designed the chamber plugs used by the store for the 1,000+ guns to ensure they cannot be loaded while on display.

John is a hunter education instructor for firearms, archery and crossbow.  He has served as a part-time police officer since 1998 for the city Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  John was introduced to shooting by his father when he was four years old, when he plinked tin cans with a Marlin 39A.  This early training paid off as he has won several Glock Sport Shooting Foundation events.

John hunts everything from ground squirrels to moose and has conducted a number of seminars for the Kittery Trading Post on crow hunting and predator hunting.  His opinion and advice is so valued that the store has featured an “Ask John” service on their website.

Airguns have remained a first love for John “K” and he shoots the Benjamin Marauder just about every day.
