In its continuing global campaign to make shooting a lifetime sport for everyone, regardless of their physical or psychological challenges, AFM’s Téléthon recently received support from Crosman International to help raise funds for myopathy research for children with neuromuscular diseases.
During the fundraising telethon, Crosman’s Romain Lecosnier manned an airsoft shooting range to introduce visitors to the fun of shooting. More than 100 visitors took their turn shooting a variety of airsoft targets. Lecosnier said all who stopped by to shoot at the range had a great time. “Our range set a positive tone for fun at the event and I think it added a dimension that encouraged people to be generous. From all indications, it seems to have worked. The telethon was quite successful.”
