Heritage 2260 (.22) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.Rated 5 out of 5 by Robert from Quite a Rifle I ordered this rifle last month and within 2 weeks of my order, it was delivered to my door. I did not realize this was considered a custom rifle, so it was built when I ordered. So far, I couldn't be happier with it. Mine is little darker brown than is shown. I also added some gun stock oil to it which added some gloss,(maybe too much). But as far as ease of use and accuracy of this rifle, I usually shoot from about 80 ft, & just like the Benjamin 392 I owned, this is VERY accurate. The target photo is the second round of 15 or so shots I get with 1 CO2. I've been averaging 30-35 pellets per. My last 2 shots were aimed at the bottom 2 targets where I had shot at least 30 pellets. So far I've only shot the Benjamin Discovery .22 pellets and used the Crosman 12g CO2 powerlet. Very pleased with the Heritage.Date published: 2017-07-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Joe59 from Sweet Gun I got this gun to replace the gun I used in the 70's with great pleasure. I am not disappointed in this version. The only change I have been able to fined is in the way the gun is cocked. The older version did not cock with the opening of the bolt as this one does. Being one that has safety on the mined I am not sure I really like this feature. Seeing that all I do is target shooting these days, the change does not take away any of the fun, smooth action and just plain enjoyment of firing the weapon. The gun I received came with a little darker finish than shown, but still shows the high level of craftsmanship I have all ways seen from Crosman. The gun was received in less than the three weeks cautioned about and the UPS service was great at keeping informed as when to be home because I did have to sign for the package. The sites were very close to being dead on for my 60' range in my backyard and bi-focal glasses. The only truly negative I have about the gun is that there is a machined flat in the barrel that I believe is for the engraving option that I did not want. I do wish that the barrel had been rotated to hide this in order that the received gun would look like the one shown on the web page.Date published: 2017-06-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Airgun guy from Sweet Airgun Just received my Heritage 2260, and am more than satisfied with it! Nice hardwood stock that feels good, and nice blued finish on metal parts! Also the peep sights were dead on at 15 yards, didn't need any adjustment! This Crosman 2260 is great, and you'll love it! Highly recommended!Date published: 2017-06-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Airgun Sam from Crosman Heritage 2260 Really love this rifle, and was very surprised at how well it was made! Nicely stained hardwood stock, nice bluing on all steel parts, and the peep sights are pretty accurate! Highly recommended!Date published: 2017-05-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Thomas from Light weight and low noise Have shot about 40 pellets so far. Minor adjustment of elevation Appears great, handles well.Date published: 2017-06-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Joe C from Fantastic product I bought this gun a month ago and I'm very happy I did. It's a beautiful gun and it's extremely accurate! The iron sights are great but my eyes need the added help of a scope which I'll be installing soon. Do yourself a favor and add one of these to your collection, you'll be as happy add I am!Date published: 2017-08-14
