Jim Chapman

Jim is an avid outdoorsman, having lived, hunted, and fished in many parts of the world over the last 30 years. He hunts big game, predators, small game, and is an avid wing shooter with traditional firearms and bow, but his passion is airgun hunting.

Jim started shooting airguns while growing up in Southern California, but left them behind for several years as he focused on firearms. This all changed while living in Europe, where he was reintroduced to airguns. But these airguns were not the same, they were extremely accurate, powerful and oriented towards the adult shooter. In the intervening years he has used air powered guns to hunt just about everything from squirrels in Kentucky to kudu in Africa.

Jim writes the popular Airgun Advantage column in Predator Xtreme magazine, contributes regularly to other outdoor magazines, has authored several books on airgun hunting, and has appeared in several airgun hunting video productions.
