Benjamin XL NP 1100Ignore any bad ratings you've read. It's very accurate. A groundhog had been digging holes everywhere in my field. I shot it in the eye, right where I put the crosshairs, at 65 yards. At 40 yards, it shoots through a 1" deck board and the steel barrel it leans against. Also, like any piston type break barrel, the more you shoot it, the more quiet it gets. It's heavy, and hard to cock. You might want the Benjamin Prowler, it's a lot easier to cock and also a very good gun. Mine's fed me many times.

Just awesomeI have owned this for several years, now. I love it. Wonderful fun for plinking and hunting. For hunting it is long but the shoulder strap is padded. I have taken squirrels (up to 50 yards) and raccoon ( up to 30-40 yards). 2" groups from a rest at 40 to 50 yards. 60 yards is still possible but you have to play the drop. 70 yards has around 7" drop shooting Daisy .22 pellets but any breeze and it's off. I use Destroyer pellets for hunting and a variety for plinking

Great Gun - Terrible ScopeSuperb plinking or short range varmit gun. Unfortunately the Centepoint kit scope included seems to be a piece of junk. First year fine, a couple of months into year two it began to lose zero and shoot all over the target. Adjustments would range from a 1/4 inch per click (normal) to 3-4 inches per click. Trying now to get ahold of customer service but alas it seems to be a piece of chineese junk. Rifle - 5 stars spot on included scope zero stars if it goes that low.
