Just Gets Better!I have owned my .177 caliber Trail for a few years now, and like most air rifles, the accuracy tends to increase as the barrel is used more and the best pellets for the rifle are found. As I said on my original review, I was able to purchase a better Center Point Scope made by Crosman which has more features which allows me to shoot farther and with more accuracy than with the original Center Point scope. I also discovered this rifle prefers heavier pellets for maximum accuracy and knockdown power. I picked up a Benjamin sling to make the rifle easier to carry while hunting. I own a great number of pellet rifles of many manufacturers, but I find this American assembled Crosman Trail to one of my most accurate and enjoyable. Aside from being accurate and powerful, it is extremely quiet-nearly silent! I find the impact of the pellet hitting the target to be louder than the firing of the rifle. Very neighbor-friendly!

Outstanding RifleI am very happy with my Benjamin Trail, especially as it was given to me to replace a different Crosman model I was totally dissatisfied with. I did put a slightly better scope on the Trail because I came upon an incredible sale in the company store. Now it is so accurate I could shoot chipmunks in the eyes if I chose to. Although it is a .177, it will zip a pellet through a woodchuck's head at 50 yards with no trouble at all. Very humane for the 'chuck, and beneficial to my garden! My thanks again to Crosman's Customer Service!

There’s only 2 reviews...To the author of the last review.... why in the hell are you trying to be accurate standing up? I’d like to see you shoot and you obviously probably can not. This is an amazing little pellet rifle and my favorite one I have ever owned. Dead accurate, fast, and can accomplish and small game task you put it with. Brought down a few turkeys for me. If you don’t know how to shoot well I wouldn’t expect you to hit a house from 10 yards away. But for people that enjoy any type of firearm or shooting device, man this is a great little gun.

Overall unsatisfiedIt's a very powerful gun, but it is not as accurate as expected. The quality of the gun is quite good but the scope isn't very good. I like the shape of the gun but it's heavy and therefore it's a challenge to keep it steady when you are standing.
