A. Tip: The first 3 numbers of a 9 digit serial # indicate the month/year manufactured.

Q. Where is the serial number located on my airgun?
A. The serial number is stamped on the exterior of your gun. The location varies depending upon the model and age.

Please note: Customer Service Representatives can not pick the parts for you.

Q. What is the difference between the many pellet types?

Q. What type of oil should I use on my airgun? Where can I purchase it?
A. Refer to Owner's Manual for proper use.
Pellgunoil = CO2 and Pneumatic
RMCoil = Silicone Chamber Oil - Break Barrels
Both types of oil can be ordered via Crosman Online Store or by calling Customer Service 800-724-7486.

Q. What size dovetail is on my gun?
A. Standard 3/8" on models that are manufactured with a dovetail.

Q. What is the value of my older gun?
A. We cannot assess the value of any airgun which may be considred antique or vintage.
We suggest you contact a collector or refer to the Blue Book of Airguns.

Q. What is the break in period for break barrel rifles?
A. 200-250 Shots

Q. How many effective shots will I get from one CO2 cylinder?
A. 12 gr. CO2 - Approx 35-40 / 88 gr. CO2 Approx 350-400. The number of shots can vary depending on model. Many factors affect the performance of your gun including brand of projectile, amount of CO2 in cartridge, lubrication, barrel condition and temperature. Operating your gun below 70 degress F will decrease the number of effective shots. The reverse is true for operating above 70 degress F.
