2300T Target Pistol (.177) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2300T Great shooter. Accurate, easy to load pellets and CO2, and an adjustable trigger. Great feel in the hand. Bought directly from Crosman and saved $20.00 over other retailers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't get the CO2 cartridge out After several years of using this pistol around the place for target shooting and occasional whack at a pest, I've found that it's nearly impossible to get the CO2 cartridge out once it's used up. I have to drill it out. I'm a metal worker, so I have polishing wheels, and have even polished the CO2 cartridges, lightly oiled them (with Tri-Flow) - and they STILL won't come out when empty. There should be a better way for extracting used cartridges. Shoving them into a dead-end tube is silly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pellet gun for target shooting Bought this pellet gun for my son in law. I also have one of these. Greatly accurate no matter which pellet I shoot out of it. It's VERY consistent, plenty of shots on a single 12g CO2 cartridge. I'd say dump the trigger screw on the guard and put a better rear sight on this. I have a red dot on mine and it works great. I asked my son in law how he liked it and he agreed with me on accuracy, rear sight and the screw on the trigger guard. Price was decent and there's readily available modifications for this that make this a more handsome gun and gives some real mistique to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does exactly what it's supposed to do! My 2300T arrived today. I installed the rear sight and installed a 12 gram Co2 cartridge as per directions. I have a 10 yard range set up on my covered back deck so I went right out and started shooting. This little gem is absolutely a pleasure to shoot and capable of FAR more accuracy than I can achieve. It is no power house by any stretch of the imagination, but it is great for what it's supposed to do and that is drill pellets in a bulls eye at 10 meters! By my tenth shot I was grouping at about 1/2 inch, off a rest, and after a slight windage adjustment to the rear sight I put 3 shots in a dime sized dot I drew on my target backer with a black marker. The trigger pull and travel are fine for what you pay for this little bug zapper and it is elegant in its simplicity. You can purchase practically everything you need, on line, to customize or repair this gun or you can save a TON of money and let Crosman build a custom piece for you from the base up. I just ordered the 2400KT from the custom shop. Is it worth the asking price? I paid more through a different on-line store for my 2300T and my only regret is I wish I had visited here first. I read a LOT of reviews. The vast majority were good honest reviews and some not so good. I feel I received everything I expected in terms of quality and accuracy and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cannot get it to shot a good group. I bought this gun along with the extended butt section. I have not been able to get it to group at all. I have tried 5 different scopes and 5 different pellets. The pellets are scattered all over. Left then right then high then low. I have sent a request asking about the longer barrels, but they have not had time to reply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice The only problem is attaching the rear sight. The very small nuts can be tightened once but take the sight off and try again and you may not be able to turn those little suckers. So be sure you get the sights correctly the first time before tightening it.
