4-16x40 mm CenterPoint Rifle Scope is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.Rated 5 out of 5 by Nekksys from Rock Solid but I still have one question I've had this scope for over 3yrs now and I have to say I'm impressed. My purchase decision was based on the packaging stating it could withstand a 416 Rigby. If you're not into big guns, the 416 Rigby is an extremely punishing weapon to fire. Cheap scopes don't last long on a Rigby. I first had this on a Mosin Nagant for which I reloaded very heavy rounds. After breaking the Mosin's extractor, I switch this scope over to my Winchester 30-06. It, too, has seen some very heavy reloads but this scope keeps going strong. Zeroing is easy and I've never had the zero drift. Turret clicks are crisp and firm. Glass is clear; focusing is easy and stays where you put it. The ONLY question I have, I haven't found an answer no matter where I've looked: Are the mil-dots calibrated in the zoom scale at 4x, 10x or 16x?Date published: 2017-09-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Black Eagle from 4-16-40 adventures center points scope I have 2 scope been shooting for 2 years no problem, good quality from cross man only.Date published: 2017-08-30Rated 4 out of 5 by Kevo from Decent scope for decent price. Had this scope on a rem 700 .243 now is on a 5.56 AT platform. Decent scope for decent price. Not much fancy here. Works really well and I trust it but it's not by any means a top tier scope. The illumination is cheap and not good for precision shooting. I don't use that feature though. All in all great for hunting not so much for driving tacks.Date published: 2017-10-01Rated 5 out of 5 by wolfman from great scope just one question My wife bought me this scope about 2yrs ago. I have used it and love everything about it.just trying to figure out if the mil dots are set at 25or50or100 yard incrementsDate published: 2018-11-24
