Rated 1 out of 5 by from broke after 2 months of use i was sitting on the chicken coop outside my house hunting cottontails when i saw a jackrabbit walk int a bush about 60ft away. i was excited to get the kill and took aim at the rabbit after having my benjamin 392 loaded for about 15 minutes waiting for a shot. i then squeeked and got the booger to stop dead in his tracks and perk up looking for the source of the noise then "click" safety off and a squeeze of the trigger... then, nothing. i was confused then rolled over on my back pumped again and only heard a hiss from the barrel. i walked away without a rabbit and a broken 392 that to this day (9 months later) no amount of tinkering can fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gun for Anyone I bought this gun because I was just getting into shooting air rifles for plinking and taking care of small animals in my yard. This gun has a very nice wood finish yet still durable. Even after buying new guns I always came back to it as my Ol' Reliable. This gun is great for beginners especially younger kids because the pumping makes you focus on your shots and take your time, and not waste ammo. The iron sights are very true as well, once they're dialed, you're good to go

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 model 392, 2 very different levels of quality I have two of these rifles purchased less than a year apart from each other. The first one looks great, shoots fine, the finish isn't what they used to be but it was acceptable. I moved overseas and had to leave the first one behind, so I bought a second one. The second one wasn't nearly as good as the first in at least two respects. First, the forearm is horribly misaligned, just the wood, not the metal lever. Second, to sight it in, I have to push the rear sight as far as it will go to the right, and then some, to hit the target. Overall I'm not too happy with the second one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid value in a classic air rifle Lightweight, good-looking, well-balanced and very accurate... there's a reason this rifle has been around for so long. Top this rifle with a Williams #64 peep sight and you'll be in heaven. (Make sure you use a Q-tip and some lacquer thinner to remove the black paint overspray inside the muzzle before accuracy testing.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened? I inherited a 1951 silver streak that's still hits hard. Bought a 392 not that long ago and on its 10th pellet it hisses out the barrel every pump. I tried a little lube to no avail. Tried a bit more, nope still hisses. Tried an extremely amount which worked... for the next 3-4 pellets. Back to hissing. :-(.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More "Umph" for your Pump Been messing around with walmart air-guns in the same price range, have to say this one puts them all to shame. Took about 10 shots to get it Zero'd in, and its been dead on ever since. Only complaint i have is the paint overspray in the barrel it doesnt seem to effect my guns accuracy, but like is this a mainstay in benjamin/sheridan/crosman products? Because even the brass paintball guns i have from way back in the day have barrel paint overspray in them. Lol like how hard is it to take a paper towel and stuff it in the barrel end before you paint it? Aside from that the old-school iron sights that everybody doesnt seem to know how to adjust the windage on. (I knocked them off and put on a Williams 5D-SH Peep Sight) So to anyone planning on keeping the stock sights on and using them, the 2 front mounting screws on the sight, those are your left/right adjustments, you tighten one and loosen the other to get it to swing the way you want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to my youth About 1960 I purchased a 5mm Blue Streak and fell in love with it. I was 12 years old and took my paper route money and placed one on layaway at the local Western Auto store. It took about 3 months to pay it off. The rifle cost $29.00. Put lots of squirrels on the table. I cannot remember what happened to the gun. I started looking at the replacement rifle a couple of years ago but just decided to purchase the replacement. Look forward to teaching grandson how to shoot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, brings me back to my childbhood. I purchased this air rifle to plink in my back yard. I out a idc on it and now the neighbors can't even hear it. Has lots of powet, but only pump it at the most 4 pumps. Jist to hit a target at 15 yards. Perfect and cheap on ammo.
