Benjamin Trail NP2 Synthetic (.22) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 14.Rated 5 out of 5 by Cody n from Great gun I have had this rifle for a while. For the break in I just say in my basement and fired at 10 yards. The gun really smooths out especially the trigger. The trigger is much better than the old crosman trigger at first a bit gritty but all is good. Accuracy it likes crosman domes which in my experience crosman guns like crosman pellets. I tried jsb h and n barracuda and field target etc. They all so ok but not as well. I also own gamo and hatsan rifles and the np2 is so much smoother and easier to cock. I love that. The stock is my favorite part when I'm hunting the thumb hole is really comfortable and balanced well. All in all a great gun quickly becoming my go to gunDate published: 2018-08-17Rated 4 out of 5 by Marc from Great value I find that this rifle is a great value/cost and assembled in America. The weight and accuracy are of great benefit. I love the appearance, of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.Date published: 2017-05-05Rated 4 out of 5 by Fisherus from Could be 5 Stars if ? I waited until I had shot 2000 rounds in 12 months through this pellet rifle before doing this review. I find very little value in reviews that are made after the product has been received but not tested other than a few shots sighting in, if that. I want to know how it will hold up in the field. Had I written this review last week, it would have had 5 stars given to it due to the fact I had shot almost 2000 rounds flawlessly with tremendous accuracy. This thing was a nail driver punching pellet behind pellet at 40 yards. I did have a Vortex scope with an adjustable objective lens in 4X12 power that really enhanced the accuracy. Locked in a rest shooting 40 yards with Crossman Premier Hollow Points at 14.3Gr.it shot .28" groups all day long. Most pellets were in the target right behind the other.Phenomenal for a break-barrel or any type of air gun. Yesterday it happened. The rifle broke! The plastic barrel tube flew apart in dozens of tiny pieces after cocking the rifle and the rifle coming loose ant pushing the barrel back up so hard it broke my shooting glasses.. Now nothing works so it is off to the repair center. I can't imagine it ever coming out with the proficiency and accuracy again because it was a rarity exceptional !Date published: 2017-11-02Rated 1 out of 5 by Rico from unreliable nitro piston failed after only 200 shots and the scope that comes with it is a piece of junk. very disappointed with this purchase. bought in the fall and it did not work when I took it out in the spring and the dealer would not warranty it for me.Date published: 2018-08-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Let_s_ride from good rifle, powerful. Hi, I just both a similar Benjamin’s rifle at Canadian tire for my sun, that was a little bit cheaper and less powerful(495fps). After shooting targets with him, I was surprised of the quality and power, but even more with the scope and its precision. So I dicided to get one my self.(trail NP2). Biggest suprise, POWER!! Wow. Only down points, the scope seems cheaper than my son’s lower price rifle. I guess most of people change them anyways but... The other little thing, the plastic cylinder holding the barel cover, cause ya, its a cover, not the actual barell size. Has a mechanic, I know I really need to be carefull with it, cause its probably gonna brake, specially bellow zero degre C. All the rest is perfect, so thats why am gonna recommand it and give it a 4 1/2 on 5. Have fun and keep it safe. Also there’s so many fun blowing targets available like the 2L bottle pressurized... just my point of vew but, It feels way better than shooting animals. Enjoy!!Date published: 2017-12-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Que Tip from Substantial rifle with built-in quality I was surprised to find, out after use, the manufactured quality that this rifle had. The power is awesome!.Date published: 2018-04-29Rated 1 out of 5 by PGK61 from Worked great for the first 4 months I purchased gun to deal with a squirrel problem, it worked great and remedied the issue until the colony has repopulated and young squirrels came to find nesting areas. I have recently shot 4 or 5 squirrels and wounding them where before I was killing them. I checked my sights and they are on the mark. The only explanation is after 75 shots it doesn’t pack the same punch. Very disappointed.Date published: 2018-10-28Rated 2 out of 5 by TimB from Scope issues I received this rifle a few weeks ago. I think I will like it eventually, but while sighting it in, I ran out of adjustment in the “Up” direction. It still shoots about 5-6” low. This is obviously a problem I am going to have to deal with using some shims or something. IMO I shouldn’t have to do this with a scope that comes specifically with this rifle. Yes, the scope is mounted correctly.Date published: 2018-12-15
