CenterPoint Sniper 370 (Black) is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.Rated 3 out of 5 by Sonny7491 from Poor cocking mechanism I bought a new Crosman Centerpoint Sniper 370 and every time I try to cock it the cocking hook on the left side where the safety is will bind and prevent me from cocking the bow. The hook is wearing to the point that I am afraid that it will fail and cause a problem. I have tried several ways to cock the bow i.e. changing the position from right to left, reversing the hooks so they are on bottom or top ,changing my stance. after a few tries i do manage to cock it but there is considerable wear to the hooks. On another subject I would like to know how long do you recommend the bow be in the cocked position before discharging the arrow ? I noticed a considerable lose of power the longer I wait to let the arrow loose.Date published: 2017-10-16Rated 4 out of 5 by urbanmarksman from AMAZING (except...) novice archer, avid shooter. this seemed like the perfect introduction. i thought i had gotten into the proper rhythm and routine of setting up a shot. i was running a drill at a range i set up in the back yard after zeroing in the sights. round one had a 10 inch group across 20, 30, and 40 yards. round two, 5 inch group. round three i shot bullseye at 20 and had a mechanical failure at 30 resulting in a busted string due to dry-fire. i did not think a dry fire was even possible with this apparatus. i was just going to buy a replacement string but after some research it appears there could be unseen damage to the crossbow. i was really happy with this product and am curious to see if a failure like this is covered under warranty.Date published: 2017-11-26Rated 2 out of 5 by Average joe from Solid crossbow but..... I bought this crossbow brand new and it's good and solid, but there is a gap between the string and string suppressor's. If this is what I can expect from this brand then I won't purchase another crossbow from them.Date published: 2017-10-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Marty moose mig from Simple but powerful and accurate Assembly was a breeze but it took my quite a bit to get the scope centered. But it is a very nice piece. I wish I would have bought the specialist CO instead because it's the sniper on roids.Date published: 2017-11-17Rated 4 out of 5 by Fred from Great bow for price Purchased bow for $250 @ Dunham's for as much as I'd use it .......also the plastic stock rattles a little because it's adjustable in length.Date published: 2017-11-01
