Benjamin Trail XL 1100 (.22) is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speed & accuracy for the money I purchased my 22 cal. trail XL1100 NP couple years ago and have been very pleased with it. As I approached the suggested 200 shot break in period the the accuracy started to settle down and before 250 shots was getting <1" groups at 30 yds. With this accuracy the chipmunks, squirrel's, & rabbits don't stand a chance at 20-40 yards. I have shot several brands and types of pellets but the most accurate pellet I have found for my rifle is the .22 cal Crosman Premier ultra magnum hunting pellet weighting in at 14.4 grains. The force required to cock the gun has relaxed some as I have shot. The only negative I have is the weight, younger shooters are forced to shoot from a rest because it's to heavy for them to hold up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expected better quality for $300 I purchased my first benjamin trail in 2016. I hadn't put 500-600 shots through it when my scope mounting rail fell off. Crosman was kind enough to replace the airrifle. Shortly after receiving the new air rifle I was out target shooting when i started to hear a rattle noise every time i closed the barrel. Remind you, i had only had this rifle for about five months. I took the rifle into my house and removed all three screws and removed the barrel from the stock. I noticed the meta bracket that holds the barrel to the stock had come loose. For $300 I was expecting a much better quality built air rifle. Thankfully Crosman has replaced this air rifle. Hopefully the third one will work longer than five months. Very disappointed with this air rifle. Of you are looking to buy an air rifle do not buy this benjamin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Benjamin Trail XL 1100 22 cal I bought this rifle about a month ago very excited but unfortunately when I open the box and got it ready to fire I noticed the couldn't fit any type of 22 cal pellet in it just wouldn't go in I had to use my Machining skills and machine at chamber for the 22 caliber tell it to get into the barrel at this time I was very unhappy with a purchase of this rifle I would like a full refund I asked a while back and have not received anything or heard anything about that so if you're thinking about buying one to be very careful other than that it is a nice rifle with money of the power I don't think modify a gun caliber pellet that it was designed that's why I give this rifle F grading

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great gun, Loved it until... I bought this gun a few months ago and it destroyed any previous notion I held as to what an air gun was capable of. I absolutely loved this gun and treated it like a baby. It is more powerful and accurate than anything else I have owned. The only faults I found in the beginning were that it is easy to accidentally unzero your scope and it was a little difficult to cock, although it became relatively easy with time. Anyways, the reason that I gave this gun 3 stars is because the rail system literally just fell off. My gun took no abuse and was never so much as bumped or banged. I had put less than 500 rounds through it and when my friend was taking a shot the rail, with the scope attached fell off the gun. Upon inspection the welds holding the rail on were surprisingly small in width, so small that they were broken by the weight of the scope. I'm talking less than paper clip sized area of connection. I've called the number listed in my manual(800-724-7486) 3 times at 9pm PST, 1pm PST and 3pm PST all on weekdays and to no avail(it went straight to voicemail where it said their offices were close). I am frustrated with the lack of customer service and I am disappointed that such a beautiful product had to succumb to such a small manufacturing error. Regardless, I still think this is a great product and I hope that the problem I came to face is limited to me and does not effect other consumers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Powerful Rifle I bought this rifle a few years ago and it is very impressive. A have shot countless varmints with it. It is not a toy and you have to be strong to.cock it. My only complaint about it is that it is heavy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good gun bad scope I got this gun for Christmas last year and I love it. Everything was going good until I took it out camping and I noticed that the scope was not any where near where the point of impact. I tried for about a hour to re zero it. It never got better I eventually noticed that when I looked through the scope and turned the windage knob the cross hairs would not move. The up and down worked but not the right and left. I ended up just taking the scope off. The gun itself is great it has great power and good range. It’s definitely the best and most powerful break barrel pellet gun I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gun I have had a Benjamin Trail NP .22 for about 3 years now and have put thousands of pellets through it with zero issues. I bought this gun for shooting red squirrels in the backyard at about 25 yards and it works perfectly. At 25 yards the gun is very accurate with the 14.3 gr hollow point premiers and it hits extremely hard. I was slightly worried about the gun being too loud but the sound of the pellet hitting they plywood i attach my targets to is actually louder than the gun itself. I have shot targets out to 50 yards with a few nice shots hitting dead center but most are pretty far off. If you are interested in using this gun for anything 30 yards and closer i would highly suggest this rifle any further and i would rather have the .25 Marauder. I am extremely happy with my super reliable Benjamin Trail
