- Challenger PCP Rifle with sights (.177)
Crosman is proud to introduce to the world the latest and greatest in competition airguns; the all new Challenger PCP. This Sporter Class air rifle was recently reviewed by the National Three-Position Air Rifle Council's committee and was approved as legal for use in Sporter Class air rifle competition.
The Challenger PCP kept the adjustable stock and ambidextrous bolt handle from the wildly popular Challenger 2000, but now includes a patented integral locking mechanism. Additionally, the completely re-designed feature set includes a two-stage, match grade, adjustable trigger and a Lothar Walther barrel for unsurpassed accuracy. The gun comes equipped with the ability to operate on either CO2 or compressed air, using Crosman's highly successful PCP platform.
Combine all of this with a visible pressure gauge and user friendly loading port, and the Challenger PCP becomes a gun that all competition shooters, young and old, can be proficient with in any shooting event. Only from Crosman, the world leader in airgun innovation since 1923.NOT A TOY. THIS AIRGUN IS RECOMMENDED FOR ADULT USE ONLY. MISUSE OR CARELESS USE MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. BE CAREFUL, SHOOT SAFELY.

Challenger PCP Rifle with sights (.177) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.Rated 5 out of 5 by Dennis in Texas from Great overall rifle for competition and training I purchased this rifle 3 years ago for two reasons. The first was for my son who is the Captain of the JROTC Marksmanship Team and they were still shooting the old Daisy pump rifles. The second is an off season trainer for him, his brother and myself for Service Rifle Competition. The 3 of us shoot High Power and all have EIC points and are trying to get distinguished in the next few years. We use this rifle 3x's a week to keep up our skills between practices and matches. The trigger and the accuracy are perfect for this and the investment was well worth it. There is no other place to put this but the only thing I'd change is the trigger. I'd like to see a trigger the better reflects a 2 stage service rifle trigger.Date published: 2018-02-26Rated 5 out of 5 by ILOYL from Precise and Light Our JROTC Marksmanship team uses these rifles for members who prove they can shoot accurately and show up reliably. There is nothing wrong with this rifle and it performs as well as I would expect it to. I love this rifle and I would choose it over any others.Date published: 2017-08-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate from Amazing, Durable, Accurate I have been using this rifle for the past 3 years as apart of the Marksmanship program in our JROTC unit. I've only had to send one rifle back for repairs other than that the rifle is very accurate and very reliable. Great Rifle!Date published: 2017-08-31Rated 5 out of 5 by nymtber from Great, accurate 10M rifle! The Challenger is a very accurate 10M match rifle. I bought it for my basement range, to work on off-hand shooting. RWS R10 pellets are superbly accurate! The only problem I had was the male QD fitting did not fully fit in the fitting on my pump. Some careful smoothing with emery cloth, and its a good fit. I get 100 consistent shots per fill, from 2000psi down to about 1000psi. Takes me less than 5 minutes of pumping slowly and I'm ready for more shooting! All i need now is more pellets and more practice!Date published: 2018-03-20Rated 5 out of 5 by marinecorpscadet from absolutly amazing my JROTC uses this rifle in competition and marksmanship training and it is absolutly amazing. adjusting the rifle to different shooters takes less than a minute and filling the air back up is simple and quick. the rifle is light enough to not tire you out in off hand yet is weighted enough to hold steady in kneeling.Date published: 2017-11-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Mannyullor from Great rifle My Jrotc program bought 7 of these rifles last year and were a big upgrade from our daisy avantti we have been using forever. The only problem with these rifles are that if you're firing certain steel pellets, you can and will not keep a zero. But after getting some heavier rounds I shot a 251 in one standing.Date published: 2017-09-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Emi Richmond from Great training and competitive rifle I bought this for my son so he can learn to shoot and compete. He absolutely loves it!Date published: 2018-01-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Maverick Stone aka Mav from Simply a pleasure to shoot! My first encounter with the Crosman Challenger was at a gun show a few months ago. After talking with one of the Crosman Corporation's representatives, I knew I wanted to own one of these precision air rifles. When I got home, I did quite a bit of research on the application and performance of the Challenger air rifle. So I decided to purchase one and see for myself if the Challenger would live up to what I have read. A few days after I placed my order, a package arrived at my doorstep. Eager to try it out, I unpacked it, installed the diopter sights and filled the on board air reservoir to 2000 psi. Now it was time to... like any respectable Crosman airgun owner would do... "I took it outside!" With an official 10 meter air rifle target clipped onto the pellet trap I knew it was time to see what it could do. Pulling the T-handle bolt back I could feel how smooth the internal cocking mechanisms were and I knew I was going to be in for a treat. I placed a .177 Crosman Premier Super Match Pellet onto the built in pellet tray and pushed the T-handle bolt forward sliding the pellet into the chamber. I lined up the front and rear elements of the diopler sights on the bullseye and slowly squeezed the trigger until I felt the first stage stop. Continuing to follow through with the trigger pull, I felt a nice crisp click of the second stage and the pellet was off to find it's mark........ Well okay.... I didn't hit the bullseye on the first shot, but what did I expect from a rifle that was just setup and straight out of the box? However, to my surprise the pellet hit right outside of the 1 ring and to the left... So, with a couple clicks of the sight adjustment knob I was able to place the pellet inside the 8 ring. Low and behold, in no time at all I was able to keep all of my shots inside the 8. So, just to be clear.. I'm not a competitive shooter nor do I claim to be one.. I'm just an average Joe that enjoys a little bit of me time with a very accurate airgun. I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of the Challenger air rifle. I own many Crosman and Benjamin airguns, but the Challenger is fast becoming one of my favorites. -mavDate published: 2018-04-10
