Andrew Lewand Joins Benjamin Prostaff November 18, 2010 Crosman Corporation, Hunting, News Twitter0Facebook0LinkedIn0 Predator authority Andrew Lewand joins the Benjamin® Prostaff to lend his expertise in the pursuit of coyotes, foxes and other species with airguns. “When we sought a local expert to help call in these elusive animals and speak to the benefits of airgun hunting, we were fortunate to find someone as experienced and congenial as Andrew,” said Chip Hunnicutt, Crosman Web & Social Marketing Manager and fellow prostaffer. Andrew Lewand obtained his degree in Fish and Wildlife Technology at SUNY Cobleskill in 1984. It was there, that he began to intensely study the eastern coyote and it’s biology. Lewand still enjoys pursuing the coyote and has formed The Bark at the Moon Coyote Club as a way to share the thrill of predator hunting. Andrew’s hunting interests are not limited to predators. September brings squirrel season and fall progresses with deer hunting with bow, shotgun, and muzzleloader. Winter months are filled by calling to fox & coyote with some crow hunting mixed in, as well. Spring features turkey season and woodchuck hunting is soon to follow. Andrew’s intense interest in predator hunting led him to become a highly respected speaker on various topics of predator hunting. His multi-media seminars inform and entertain audiences across the northeast. Lewand is also a freelance writer and his articles can be seen in hunting magazines such as The Varmint Hunter Magazine, NBS Outdoor, Fur, Fish & Game, Trapper & Predator Caller and Predator Xtreme.
