CenterPoint® Hunting and Outdoors, a division of Crosman Corporation, has introduced its first line of rugged, practical binoculars for hunting and general outdoor use. The three new lines offer six compact models, each promising sharp images, fixed magnification with adjustable focus, both roof prism and Porro prism optics, and large, multicoated objective lenses to collect maximum light for the brightest image possible. The lines promise many of the features on higher priced models, but at more reasonable prices.

According to Crosman Vice President of Marketing, Roy Stefanko, the line is a good complement to the current CenterPoint line of hunting optics. “Our hunting and target scopes are designed to withstand all the abuse that high-powered firearms and air powered guns dish out,” he said. “The same goes for our new line of binoculars. Our Three Phase binocular line offers models for almost any compact binocular application, with sharp, bright images, rugged design and ergonomic contours to make sighting game or birds a snap. They’re designed for the outdoors and priced to sell.”

The line includes six models in three Phases. Phase One, the most budget conscious models in the new line, includes two models, both with a quick focus bridge to easily sight the action, a large 42mm objective lens for brightest picture, a roof prism and fold-down design for convenience. Phase One models are great for catching all the action at the football game and come in sizes 8×42 with 8x fixed power, and 10×42 with 10x fixed power both carrying MSRPs of $47.00. These two models are folding compacts, making them the most portable of the three Phases.

CenterPoint Phase Two binoculars, stepping up to hunting and outdoor activities, also includes two semi-compact, Porro models, both with offset Porro prism design for easier handling, a comfortable, non-slip rubber body shell, large 50mm objective lenses for the brightest possible image and protective lens covers. Phase Two comes in 10×50 with 10x fixed power magnification and carries and MSRP of $68.00, and the 16×50 with 16x fixed power has an MSRP of $72.00.

CenterPoint Phase Three binoculars, for the serious outdoorsman, feature in-line optics, easy-to-hold, ergonomic shape, roof-prism design, large easy-to-use controls, multi-phase coated optics for sharp resolution, a large 42mm objective lens for the brightest possible image and protective lens covers. Phase Three comes in 8×42 with 8x fixed power magnification, and 10×42 with 10x fixed power, with MSRPs of $88.00 each.
