Crosman Corporation, long known for innovation and quality in products for the shooting sports, has introduced the three new lead-free pellets with outstanding ballistic properties that enhance long-range shooting.  In addition to being more environmentally friendly, each of the new belted, pointed Powershot Penetrators is designed to maintain shape after impact, providing better penetration for hunters.  Their profile also offers more stable, precise flight for target and recreational shooters.

According to Tom Clark, Crosman product manager, the three new lead-free pellets promise important advantages.  “Screaming fast, extremely accurate, and more environmentally friendly pellet hits the bull’s eye for target shooters and hunters alike,” he said.  “The new Powershot pellets are faster than lead pellets, have a cleaner profile in flight to slice through the air, and won’t deform on impact, making them great for penetrating the center of your target or whatever game you’re hunting.”

The Powershot Red Flight Penetrators are the heaviest, lead-free .22 caliber pellet Crosman offers at 16.7 grains.  They are designed for precision accuracy, long range shooting, and have excellent stopping power for airgun hunters.  They are sold in packages of 100 and have an MSRP of $9.99.

The Powershot Fast Flight Penetrators are belted 5.4 grain, .177 caliber pellets.  “Designed for superior velocity and maximum penetration, they should be the choice of hunters seeking both,” says Clark.  “At 20 percent faster than lead pellets, they are also just right for target practice or to hone your shooting skills for hunting.”  The 125 count packages carry an MSRP of $9.99.

The Powershot Gold Flight Penetrators are 8.5 grain, .177 caliber pellets.  These pellets are designed for high-speed, long range shooting.  Increased flight stability makes them a great lead-free choice for shooters and hunters focused on improving accuracy.  They carry an MSRP of $9.99 and are sold in packages of 125.

The new Crosman Powershot lead free pellets will be available in the spring.
