Crosman Corporation, long known for innovation and quality in products for the shooting sports, has introduced a new, lever-action, .177 caliber BB air rifle that promises to keep shooters “in the pink.”  The new Desert Rose lever-action holds 700 BBs and shoots at muzzle velocities of up to 350 feet per second (fps).

According to John Alvord, Crosman product manager, the new Desert Rose is a great choice for developing beginning shooting skills. “This BB air rifle is ideal for entry level shooters.  At Crosman, we are enthusiastic about getting youth into shooting as a lifetime sport,” he said. “The new Desert Rose is one of those special models that young shooters will yearn to use for their first shooting experience. It’s easy to cock, simple to aim and certain to produce a brilliant smile with every shot.”

The Desert Rose lever-action features a pink, hardwood stock and forearm, and an all-metal receiver and cocking lever. The lightweight BB rifle has a front blade sight and an adjustable, notched rear sight, so, “lining up the sights is a breeze,” says Alvord.  “The Desert Rose is all about being a non-threatening point-of-entry for a beginning shooter. That lovely shade of pink is enough to make any girl want one.  At least, that’s what my daughter tells me,” he said.

The Desert Rose has an MSRP of $58.00 and will be available at retail in the spring.
