NWTF Chapter Picks Up Mobile Range June 20, 2011 Community, News Twitter0Facebook0LinkedIn0 Representatives of the New York State 4-H Shooting Sports recently stopped by Crosman’s corporate headquarters to accept delivery of a brand new Portable Shooting Range that will be made available to counties within the state for use in outreach efforts. The purchase was made possible through 4H fundraising and a grant by the National Wild Turkey Federation. The future of conservation and hunting is inherently linked to the number of new hunters entering the sport since hunters pay for conservation and wildlife restoration. NWTF volunteers reach out to women, children and people with disabilitites by providing outdoor recreational opportunities through our outreach events. The New York State Chapter, which represents all of the local NYS Chapters, has contributed $44,700 to the 4H Shooting Sports Program since 2001. If your organization works to introduce youth and others to shooting, contact us, we can help.
