Congratulations to the 25 Boy Scouts who shot a perfect score during the Seneca Waterways BSA Council Centennial Camporee!  These scouts shot a perfect 12-round magazine from a Crosman 1077 and had their names placed in a drawing for a special shooter’s prize pack:  Official Crosman cap & shirt, targets, BB’s, CO2 and a brand new 1077 air rifle!

Max Sousa of Troop 61 was the raffle winner and we had a great visit with he and his father here at Crosman HQ!  “This place is COOL!”, exclaimed Max as they looked at Crosman airguns of years’ past adorning the walls.

Along with the Crosman Shooting Range, scouts took advantage of a climbing wall, kayaking and canoeing, and bike riding opportunities during the Camporee.  A challenging Scout Olympics Rope Bridge course completed the activities.  Great weather led to great attendance as over 1,200 kids were expected.  The Crosman range efficiently kept a constant line of 20 scouts moving quickly, many coming back time and again.

A special thanks to Troop 166 for feeding the Crosman crew!  Click here for more information on the Seneca Waterways Council of Boy Scouts of America.

The Crosman Mobile Range Center travels the country, introducing youth to the sport of airgunning as well as excitement to corporate events.  Next month, the world’s largest gathering of Boy Scouts will take place at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia: 2010 National Scout Jamboree.  Crosman is the exclusive provider of airguns to the Jamboree and of 140,000 attendees, will see over 75,000 Scouts participate in a variety of shooting events.
