Mike Gilman was raised in Cohocton, New York where he spent most of his days playing in the woods and enjoying Mother Nature. He learned to shoot at a young age with his father, who would take him hunting on a regular basis and even though he wasn’t able to shoot, “the joy of being a part of the hunt was thrilling enough.” While Mike has always enjoyed hunting small game like woodchucks and squirrels, he had never hunted, or owned, an airgun before accepting a position with Crosman in 2010. “My favorite airguns to shoot are the .25 caliber Marauder and the new .357 Bulldog,” says Mike. His career with Crosman began in the manufacturing department as a member of the Assembly team and today he supervises the Warranty Department. Not long after joining Crosman, Mike was turned on to predator hunting, “It really is my favorite time of the year and I usually spend every weekend out late at night during the open seasons.” Mike was the first to successfully take a predator with the Benjamin Bulldog. His education is in firefighting/fire investigation and it continues to be a hobby, along with target shooting with his wife and close friends.
