Phillip’s passion for shooting didn’t start until he joined the Marine Corps Infantry shortly after high school. Growing up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, he spent most of his time playing sports. During his 10 year career in the Marines, his passion for shooting and the outdoors grew as he spent countless hours in the field and training. After two combat deployments to Iraq and a third deployment overseas he became a Combat Marksmanship Instructor trainer. During this time he honed his shooting skills and made the base competition shooting team for both Rifle and Pistol.

November 2013, right out of the Marine Corps, Phillip accepted a position with Crosman as the Second Shift Group Leader. Prior to joining the company, he had little knowledge of the capabilities of today’s adult airguns and preferred the powder burners used during his time in the military. “During my initial tour of the factory, I was in disbelief when I was shown the Benjamin Rogue .357 and the round it shoots. I had to have one”.

His arsenal of airguns has grown significantly since those initial days (and includes the Benjamin Rogue) and he has become a frequent air rifle shooter. He is a member of Crosman’s Field Target Competition Team and with the Benjamin Armada, leads the team as their top shooter.
