The rubber hits the road at next month’s L.A.S.S.O. shoot in Sulphur Springs, Texas. It is the only event of its kind in the U.S. to feature big bore airguns – calibers of .308 and greater – competing in a long distance competition and the Benjamin Rogue .357 will be among them.

Organized and attended by the biggest names in big bore airguns, LASSO 2012 is managed by Eric Henderson and hosted by Benjamin Prostaffer Terry Tate. Crosman’s Ed Schultz will be there to answer questions about our full lineup and expects most to center on the Rogue and ePCP technology.

The competition is a two-shot, timed event with participants taking shots at animal-shaped steel plates placed at ranges between 100 and 300 yards. Points are awarded for succesful hits on targets and with each hit, the range increases. The shooter with the most hits, wins.

LASSO 2012 will be 8am – dark on March 17 at Terry Tate’s farm near Sulphur Springs, Texas. The address is 2837 CR 1127, North Cumby, Texas. There are plenty of lodging options nearby:
