Smith Shoots Crosman To Win Worlds October 10, 2011 Competition Twitter0Facebook0LinkedIn0 Nancy LaCroix, IHMSA President is pictured above presenting Rowland Smith with his 2011 award for Air Pistol Standing with a score of 70×80 and Air Pistol unlimited standing Iron Site 63×80, both scores were shot with a Crosman 2300S in the 2011 World Championships in Fort Stockton, TX. Championships were held from July 9-15. Because of heavy winds Shooters shot under harsh conditions (event was moved inside) at the Fort Stockton Coliseum. The temperatures and humidity were higher than normal, outside temperatures were always over 105+ and it was across the entire country that week. This gun was shot in three consecutive events (meaning 240 rounds were shots with no rest time for the gun or shooter).
