Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Value, Great Intro Air Rifle, Powerful Purchased about 3 weeks ago, and have shot about 600 pellets through so far. All different types, and the best grouping is the size of a nickel at 25 yards with the Gamo Target Trainer 7.46gr. Heavier pellets tend to drift to a 1 to 2" group. The scope held up for about 400 shots, and then broke in half... go buy an Air gun Specific Scope, and plan on spending about $60 or more. Break Barrel air guns are really hard on scopes and attachments. Shooting these is not the same as a center or rim fired rifle - you barely hold it at all, it has to jump around. Trigger pull is stiff - do the modification.. Noise is about 85 DBa at 3', so not real quiet, but not noisy either. Overall a great value and a lot of fun, and it does a great job on unwanted pests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Under rated, Over performs! Bought the F4 for my "after Christmas present", and very pleased. Ran almost 500 break-in rounds thru it, and then tested it. Mine seems to be pumping out 1387 fps at my rifle crono on the 50 yard line... wow, more than spec'd. After taking the scope apart and cleaning it inside and out, the F4 shoots consistant 1-inch or better groupings (at 50 yards) freehand, or mounted on a firm stand, it can actually put 4 out of 5 pellets thru the same hole. Neither my Russian nor my name brand Italian ($350-$400) air rifles shoot this well (actually, neither do my .22LR's). The squirels disappear on site, the racoons and opossums just don't seem to hang around anymore. You have out done yourselves on this one, Crossman.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great buy for the money I bought one loved it just got the newer version in a classic stock. Using the crosman domed been shooting dime size group at 40 yards. Got bout 1,025 average with the crosman 7.9 .177 domed pellets . Great for shooting cans and small game . It is a little loud but still back yard friendly . The stock scope was ok lil blurry around the edge so I took the scope apart cleaned the inside of the scope also took the tourets out put new springs in so now the clicks are more smooth. Over all once u do some work on the scope it's actually pretty good scope. Got 3 tins of 500 rounds through the f4 with the cut outs In the stock. The new f4 classic I got about 800 rounds through. Took about 250 rounds to get both rifles broke in . Both shoot great be sure to pick ya up one .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Merry Christmas to me! Bought this rifle just a few days ago, right after Christmas. I love it! I live in NW Florida and the rabbits and squirrels are everywhere. Or they were...... Yes I do eat what I shoot. No random killing. Crossman, you nailed this rifle. I am 49 years old and this brings back memories of me as a little kid stalking dangerous prey. ;o)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A supremely great value in an accurate air rifle. I've had my Crosman F4 for about a year now, and upgraded the packaged Centerpoint scope to a 3-9x32AO scope from another maker, making for a very nice yet affordable combo, under $150 total. While I'm no marksman, shooting at the Crosman Folding Spinning Target System, I've able to consistently hit the larger target (3 inch?) at a 40-yard downhill range and the smaller target about 50% of the time, so I'm very happy with that result; this is shooting competition grade 8.2gr pellets from another maker. I do wonder what the accuracy or striking power at twice that range would be, but the 40-50 yds I get get in my backyard is more than enough challenge to satisfy me. Overall, the rifle seems most accurate for me with good quality pellets in the 8-9 grain weight range. From the Crosman pellet line, the 7.9gr Super Match doesn't seem quite as accurate at 40 yds as the 10.5gr Piranha, the latter a bit of a surprise and faring pretty well against my two preferred but more expensive pellets. Probably my favorite Crosman pellet, and I really like that it is clean to handle also, is the 10.6gr Copper Magnum....still not my most accurate pellet but close, and delivering a good punch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid rifle I've had this rifle for a little over a month now and with the right ammo( I use beeman silver bear 7.10 grains) at 50 yards I put groups that touch each other. Did use a different scope but I could not be happier for the price and quality. Also it smokes birds and small game easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built, powerful I got it for my birthday yesterday and I am not disappointed. I am using Copper Magnum domed 10.6 grain pellets and it's velocity and power are impressive. It's sturdy and well-constructed. The included scope is a nice touch. It's a great rifle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just bought my F4 I bought the F4 about a week ago and love it. It's accurate, and fairly quiet. It was easy to sight in and takes down rabbits and squirrels like a dream. I love it
