Maximus Euro (.177) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maximum fun I bought this rifle after watching AEAC review. It is awsome, the trigger smooths out with a little time and lots of shooting. I have put close to 1500 pellets through it. It started out being a little pellet fussy but now shoots .2 dia groups at 19 yards with just about anything. oddly enough it really likes the cheap gamo pointed pellets. I have not counted how many shots I get per fill shooting at close range like I am it does not drop point of impact until less than 1000psi left and that is ALOT of shots. If you are looking to try a pcp or in my case wanted something different this is your gun. just so you know I have an air arms TX200, JKhan Nobelese, Benji Mrod pistol, stoger, benji multi pump and a couple more. This gun is quite enough to shoot indoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from rarely items do, but this met my expetations I ordered shortly before having knee surgery and it arrived four days after having it, giving me something to look at. A few days later I tried it and it is very easy to pump up with a Crosman pump, about 55 pumps the first time and 60 shots while still in the green area of the gage. The gage on the pump says 1000 psi when at the bottom of the green scale on the rifle and 2000 psi when at the top of the green scale. Now 25 to 30 pumps bring it back to 2000 psi and 60 shots later it is only three fourth or less down the green scale. I shoot 10 to 22 yards in my back yard at a 10 meter 12 bulls eye target so with 5 shots each I get 60 shots. It is more accurate than I can shoot, but with a good rest I can get .380" groups outside to outside and .5" inch with fliers when I do not do my part. Trigger is heavy, but works ok.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My First PCP I purchased the rifle late January 2017 and have put over 6000 shots through it. I upgraded the trigger with a kit available on line and though it is better than the original, I'm still not satisfied with the trigger. By far the trigger is the most negative thing about this rifle. I chose the Euro version for the high shot count and the barrel mod that allowes a silencer which is necessary for my backyard shooting. I shoot from 20 to 30 yards most of the time and I can tell you that the rifle is very accurate. It has become my go to air rifle and my other air rifles stay in the closet most of the time. It is a joy to shoot and I have shot as high as 100 shots before adding air. I use a Benjamin pump and it's no problem to fill. I highly recommend this rifle if you are planning an entry into PCP air rifles. You will enjoy it as I do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Euro Maximus .177 I'm not new to the PCP guns. My granddaughter had been showing an interest in shooting and I wanted her to have her own gun. The Maximus looked like a good fit for the size and weight. I also wanted her to have a single shot for now. I tend to tinker with everything and did replace the trigger for a smoother action. Stock was not bad, just most all guns in this price break can be improved. The accuracy is VERY impressive. If you miss the target I doubt it can be blamed on the gun. I'm always so pleased when a gun shoots so consistent. The chrony testing had it at a 6 fps spread over 5 shots. That's in the range of a regulated gun. I would have given it an excellent if not for the original trigger and it is a little hard to load. The cocking arm has a firm pull that an 8 year old struggled to pull back. Overall I would definitely recommend this gun to beginners and seasoned shooters who enjoy a modest priced gun that shoots like the big boys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive Value I am not in the habit of writing airgun reviews but after shooting the Maximus Euro (.177) for a couple of months, I had to share my thoughts. In my opinion, this airgun represents one of, if not the, best values in the $200 PCP category. I base that opinion off of the Maximus' accuracy, shot count, and consistency. I am a 25-meter heavy varmint benchrest shooter, and my coach suggested the Maximus Euro as a good 12 ft. lb. practice gun to learn to dope wind more effectively. A famous powder burner rifle reviewer once wrote that only accurate rifles are interesting. The Maximus Euro is a very accurate rifle, and at 25 meters in light wind, I have no problems stacking JSB 8.4 grainers. I took her out to 50 yards last week and shot several groups between 1" and 1 1/2". After around a 100 pellet break-in, I chronographed a shot string and got 35 shots from 2,000 psi down to 1000 psi averaging 665 fps with an extreme spread of 10 fps! From an unregulated gun? I shot a second 35 shot string to verify and the results did change...the second group turned in an average of 670 fps with an ES of 8 fps! From an unregulated $200 rifle...amazing! I will change the trigger and stock in the near future but the overall the accuracy and consistency of this rifle far exceed its price point. I'm certain a Maximus in .22 is in my future.
