Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hit or miss I had the older version of this scope and had issues with the optics looking white or hazy from 10x to 16x. Sent out back to crosman and they quickly replaced it. Unfortunately the new one isn't much better... I don't get the white haziness but the eye relief is awful from 10x to 16x. I read reviews and several others have had this same issue. Others say that if you get a good one your lucky. Honestly I would rather spend another $60 and get a better scope. Crosmans customer service is excellent... But their scope isn't. From 4 to 8x the optics are fine. Anything higher and I begin to get shadowing. It's sad because this scope really has potential.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4x16x40 i bought this scope about six months ago while waiting for an osprey scope to come in i had ordered. i just bought a new ruger american 6.5 creedmore and while waiting i purched this scope to try my new rifle at the range. im 69 years old and have scopes like nikons,osprey,hi-lux and burris. my sons laughed and shook their heads about me getting this scope. after shooting different ammo and hunting with this scope and taking hogs and deer it is still on this rifle. and the range master where i shoot can tell you, if its still on this rifle its doing the job. as he has seen try out a number of combinations for months. i may have the exception because i bought a 6x20x50 and took it back shortly after buying it. i would try another 4x16x40 but walmart is out at the moment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Clear optics, couldn't zero in I bought this scope a few days ago from Wal-Mart since my original scope decided to die 2 weeks before opening day of deer season. I mounted it on my savage 110 30-06 and I was extremely impressed with the clarity of it for only paying $70 for it. When I went to sight it in I was shooting way below my 4 ft tall target at 100 yds. After taking it up over half of the MOA I was still shooting 40 in low. I'm not sure if it was a manufactur defect or if it something broke in the shipping process. Either way I had to return it and go with a different scope to get shooting straight again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I was given this scope by my wife last year for my birthday. at first i put it on my savage 340 in 30-30win. it has the weaver two piece mount. Side mounted. this scope proved to be to heavy for that set up. It cause the base screws to back out from the recoil of my hand loads. This scope was originally intended for my savage 110 in 7mm. And it is on that gun as i am typing this. i swapped the old bushnell banner dusk ad dawn 3-9x40 with this optic. I do not shoot factory loads in either of my rifles..period. my hand load for the 7mm is 150gr nosler ballistic tip over 63 gr of imr 4831. my 30-30 hand load is 130-150 grain spire points over 36.5(150 gr)-39.0 gr(130gr) over leverevolution. i shoot spire points out of it only because it is a bolt gun.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not stay sighted in!! I purchased this model scope and a center point laser bore sighter at the same time. I then put the scope on my Ruger M77 .270 win. bore sighted the scope everything was looking good. Went out the next morning hunting seen a deer about 50-70yds and missed it. So, then I back to the range and sure nuff it was way out of sight. And it absolutely would not zero back out. So, I took it back and exchanged it for another and had the SAME EXACT PROBLEM with the new one. So, I will not be purchasing another CenterPoint product again!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and great price! I purchased the older version of this scope many moons ago. As a professional gunsmith, I test fire many rifles and always turn to this scope to test fire with. This scope has literally been in everything from .22LR to .338-06. It has never lost its zero. Battery life is excellent. I’ve replaced the battery twice in 9 years. Its finally found its resting place on my .300 Blackout AR and performs flawlessly. I’m looking to buy another centerpoint to do another video review on for my customers. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does as promised Bought this scope for a .22-250 and so far am very happy with it. Have zeroed it in for a couple of different rounds and it seems to respond as intended to the adjustments in windage and elevation. Held zero at 100 yards with 2 different shooters. And the price and warranty are great!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works great at x4 Got this for Christmas. Mounted it on my .30-30 and went on one hunt. Was doing good at the short range feeder but when I tried to sight in the longer feeder out back, I realized that if I tried to go beyond x4 I couldn't focus the scope. It appears that the parralax adjustment is going the opposite way and so I can only bring it more out of focus instead of in focus. Hopefully the warranty will replace it without forcing me to go through too many hoops or spend a whole lot on shipping.
