Pumpmaster 760X with 4x15 Scope (.177/BB) is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective and broken within 30 shots. Didn't feed BBs 80% of time, jams 25% of time, will not fire after about 30 BBs being fired altogether. Ironically used Crosman Copperhead BBs. Failure to fire has something to do with the trigger or valve, it is pumped but will not fire. Jammed BBs had to be removed with by sticking something into the magazine/bolt area to unjam the BB, and doing so started to split the plastic. Owned for 4 hours before it became a 3 pound awkward paperweight. The old ones were a great build quality, I don't know what happened to Crosman. This is their flagship classic air rifle, and it doesn't work whatsoever. Warranty may cover a replacement, tentative, but this many problems so quickly makes me wary of even a replacement. Stick to the higher build quality stuff, Crosman still seems to make a decent airgun, but definitely avoid the "classic" 760 Pumpmaster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good pump gun if realistic about accuracy Bought this 760B purposely to take apart, so I Purposely purchased to take apart, so I can service my M-4. Got it at Big 5 for $57 and out the door sale. I did get apart and put back together (YouTube helped. Crosman does not have fix-it video why?) But no problems. Like the simplified contruction: (1) One piece stock and receiver. (2) Great leverage on new LONG pump! (3) Because of new design, I can pump rifle 7 times while holding by the top of stock. EASY! No bothering scope!! Tom at Pyramyd Air has it right - Crosman gun, Crosman ammo! I used the simple Crosman points that deliver dime groups in my M-4, 7 pumps always, and I am pleased here with 760B at 11/2 in groups. I WAY upgraded the scope to UTG Bugbuster with quick release and weaver adapter. Forget BBs and stick with Crosman pellets. At 13 and 15 yards, fired at two 1/12 circles; 9 out of 10 at 13yds, 7 out of 10 at 15 yards. Be patient with trigger: pick up slack, squeeze some more, stop at harder resistance, hold pump firmly. Fire. Question for Crosman rep: Have the executives considered cross marketing with UTG? Great, affordable upgrades that ROCK on 760 and M-4 platform!
