Shockwave NP (.177) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice gun I had a chance to shoot this gun and it was very accurate and comfortable to shoot . The overall quality and finish of the gun was first class.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pellet Picky I received this air rifle as a warranty repacement for a very accurate .177 Fury that lost power. Crosman graciously substitued this rifle as the Fury was not available. After testing many pellets and shooting over 1000 shots, I was ready to give up due to poor accuracy but then I tested JSB Diabolo 10.34 grain and everything changed. If I showed you a picture of the first 10 shot group at 28 yards you would not believe it. Hole in ragged hole for nine shots and the other was touching. I shoot break barrels a lot and this is the best ten shot group I ever shot. Of course I've got the trigger adjusted as light as poissible and it is still a little heavy. That is why I'm rating the rifle at four stars. If you own this rifle, test lots of pellets. Finding the right one makes a world of difference. I also recommend upgrading the scope as I did. I plan to shoot this air rifle a lot and will enjoy for years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stopping power, but poor accuracy I would not really recommend this rifle in .177 caliber. It is extremely powerful, but as a result the accuracy suffers. Compared to other 1000fps rifles, I can definitely say this has a bit more power, but possesses a very high negative recoil (forward kick) that requires very strong scope mounts. I used various alloy mounts which could not prevent the scope from creeping. Same issue with a red dot sight, after every shot it would creep backwards a little bit. After sorting the scope mount with a single piece mount, I found out that the high output power (while very impressive) does not lend itself to good accuracy. The ONLY pellet that could achieve a decent grouping is the H&N Baracuda, I tried about 5x different medium weight rounds and about 4x different heavy weight rounds, and a few sabot type lightweight rounds. The velocity on the medium/lightweight pellets is so high, that it breaches the sound barrier (you can hear the sonic crack on the very light ones), and with the pellet velocity so close to the sound barrier the turbulence throws the accuracy off. The lighter the pellet, the worst the accuracy. On the heavier pellets the groupings are better, but only the H&N Baracuda's could give a decent grouping. Another issue I had was the roller wheel of the cocking arm under the receiver, it was rubbing against the stock (not rolling) due to poor clearance between the receiver and stock, resulting in score marks on the bottom of the receiver, causing the stock the grind a bit of a flat spot on the roller wheel. I had to fill up the stock with epoxy glue on the portion where the roller wheel runs, and sand it down by about 1.5mm to correct the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent air rifle for the price I bought this air gun for pest control around my cabin. Excellent grouping with Crosman PREMIER Hollow point 7.9gr. The NP is awesome and wont hurt the scope like conventional spring piston. The trigger is perfect, the weight is perfect and it is rugged enough to walk through bush's and branches no problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall decent I got this gun for Christmas and I like it it has great stoping power but it isn't accurate I've taken multiple shotswithout changing the dials on the scope and those shots didn't end up in the same place but I do like the physical design of the gun it feels great so it's not bad

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rifle for the $ ! ! I got this for Christmas and i have put maybe 50 rounds through it so far. It dialed in @ 15feet in the first 2-3 shots and has been dead on since ! Really like the safety, and trigger pull adjustment is a really nice feature .The power of this rifle is awesome !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good features I bought this gun about 6 months ago and it is performing very well so far. I discovered that once "broken in", it shoots very accurately. My "sweet" pellet is the GAMO Rocket Destructor. It takes out pigeons at 35 yards. I've never missed one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it I picked this gun up to thin the squirrel population around my house, they were getting in my attic. It worked great for me. I've had no trouble. I'm satisfied with it all around.
