Benjamin Trail XL 725 (.25) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Kiwi buyer! I picked up my 2017 Trail np xl .25 today. Not cheap, $745 Kiwi, but I am very happy! I have the Trail np all weather and it has been Rock solid for four years I love it. The .25 np xl has more power and in .25 is a sledgehammer. On opening the box I was honestly very surprised at the outstanding quality of the 2017 model. The stock is very high quality and has some nice grain. Everything fits nicely together and the metalwork had a nice coating of oil. Got it sighted in in no time with H&N Field Target Trophy 19 grains. It is a handsome beast! I bought my first Crosman when I was 18, here I am 55 and still love the brand. Thank you Crosman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first big bore! Albeit at the bottom of the so-called, " Big Bore" ladder, this rifle is no slouch! About 10 pounds with scope, the Cochise thumbhole helps give a surer, more comfortable grip. With the forearm artillery hold, in any of it's permutations, that weight is well balanced. Being a magnum air rifle, it kicks hard. About like a .22 magnum. But it hits hard too! I shot it through my chronograph, with H&N field target trophy pellets @ 19.91gr, and got a high of 858FPS/32.55FPE! That's 2.55FPE above the 30FPE listed on the box. So this gun delivers on it's promises and more! It hits quite hard, so medium-size game will go down with a well-placed head shot. Shooting 50 yards can be done with this rifle and about a 25gr pellet., It's a handsome, well made and well balanced magnum sporter worth every single penny! It really makes me want to get it out and shoot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate from the first shot Not very heavy and balanced better than my Beeman 12.5. The scope that comes with it is very nice, its equipped with the mil-dot and rings are included. The mounting rail for the scope is already to go. As advertised, it is significantly quieter. It has a high quality wood stock and the bluing is excellent. It really is worth the money. I've always been a strong supporter of Beeman products and the Springer models. This is the first gas spring model for my arsenal and I'm very impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very powerful, great for hunting. I purchased this rifle from Midway for only around $240 (they had it on sale). Excellent power from a Springer. Cocking is smooth and although heavy, has never "beartrapped" on me. As far as groups go I'm still trying to find the best kind of pellet for the rifle. Only complaints are that the stock is quite prone to nicks, and the metal (external) on the air reservoir is prone to mild rust. Be very sure to dry your gun after using it in the rain and especially before putting it in a case for an extended period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power for the price I am so happy with this rifle i have a 22 cal crossman optimus that will go through both sides of a steel lid of a gas grill and this 25 cal benjaman would defently take down game the size of a coyote .
