It is difficult to find a listing of length of pellet that can be used others than use a caliper or visually compare to a standard unit. . After ordering other .117 cal high penetration pellets, I discovered that the 1077 magazine won’t accept them. The circular pellet holder will take the diameter but the magazine clip tolerances just won’t accept for the holder as the pellets are too long. It is possible to place a pellet in the firing position and slip the clip up for a one shot, but what’s the point, right? Haven’t found a source for a next gen magazine assembly that could accept the newer penetrating rounds.

The best airgun I've ever had! In fact, it's my favorite gun of all my collection, both air and firearms. I got the wood version (I love wood) and can't believe how nice it is. I absolutely love everything about this rifle: the repeating 12 shot clip is great, and the CO2 remains powerful for a long time. It's extremely accurate and hard hitting. Great for small game and pest control. I like it so much, I bought another one for backup that's still in the box! I HOPE and PRAY you NEVER stop making this EXACTLY like it is. I would also love it if you made a .22 version of the exact same design. You could just call it the "CROSMAN REPEATAIR 1022 CO2 .22". I suggest it because you can legally hunt small game in New Hampshire with airguns (only in .22 caliber). I will buy it (at least two!) if you make it. Thank you for a great deal and a timeless classic. I would also love it if you would make the Classic 2100 in wood and in both .177 & .22. Please do!

Got my 1077w today and set it up with a 4X 32 scope and though I would shoot a few rounds to zero it in. Well 2 hours, 10 CO2 cartradges and 300 rounds later. O.M.G too much fun. Once zeroed in I was putting Quater size groupings on target @ 50 ft. / 16 meters all day long. Didn't give it five stars because it has alot of plastic in it and only time will tell if it will hold up. The stock is darker than the one in the picture, but it grew on me. You better buy alot of CO2 and pellets because you will want them. I have a old Crosman 262 Sporter and I love that rifle this one is following in it's foot steps. I had a great day shooting this gun for the first time today and I know it will only get better the more I shoot it. I think you can't go wrong with this one. If you are going to have your kids shoot this one remember it is a repeater and eveytime you cycle the trigger it fires,so teach your young shooter to ALWAYS KEEP IT POINTED DOWN RANGE TILL ALL AMMO IS EXPELLED ( 12 ROUNDS ). Get exter clips I got ( 3 ) extra and shot ( 4 ) clip for every co2 cartradge . Also I found if you seat each pellet when reloading in the clip groupings improve. Get one and have fun, great little gun , just the right weight and balance for all shooters. Glad I got mine love the wood stock I guess I am just old school.
