The Crosman M4-177 Variable Pump Air Rifle delivers versatility, control, and tactical styling in a durable, easy-to-use platform. Designed for shooters who want adjustable power and multi-ammo capability, this rifle allows you to fine-tune performance for everything from casual plinking to light pest control.

With its variable pump system, the M4-177 lets you control velocity from 350 to 700 feet per second, depending on the number of pumps. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt to different shooting scenarios without changing rifles. The M4-177 fires both 4.5mm steel BBs and .177 caliber pellets, giving you added versatility in ammo choice.

A rifled steel barrel supports consistent accuracy when shooting pellets, while the durable, water-resistant synthetic stock holds up to regular outdoor use. The rifle features an adjustable stock to fit shooters of different sizes, along with a crossbolt safety to promote safe handling.

For aiming, the M4-177 includes a dual-aperture rear sight and an adjustable post front sight, helping you stay on target across varying distances. A Picatinny rail allows for mounting compatible accessories, and included components like a Firepower® 5-shot pellet clip, removable carry handle, and onboard sight-adjustment tool storage round out a thoughtfully designed package.

the fathers day shipping deal was not available over the phone (and we have no "pocket brothels" aka smart phones or internet), but they helped us through it! : )
We purchased the gun and a 6,000 count bb jug. Because of the missing fathers day free shipping They sent a free 2500 bb pack ! (It arrived in a separate small box)
    : )
But the shipper badly damaged the gun box, causing the 6,000 count bb jug to be totally lost.
The gun shot just fine despite the crushed shipping and factory box.
The great part is, crosman sent another 6,000 count bb jug to replace the one the shipper lost !
    Mucho Gracias Crosman !
    : )
May Almighty, Bless-ed God richly bless and reward you !
    Prayerfully, jesse and sons ! : )

I really like this rifle, my only problem is sighting it in. The supplied sights are average. I bought the Crosman 0290RD Red Dot Scope but it is not compatible with the Picatinny rail where the handle/rear sight mounts.

When I shot a pellet the barrel came out with it

  6. Troy Hunton

This is actually really cool, practice trigger control in the back yard. Super accurate with pellets and a high dollar optic. (Put on for S&G) 20 yds/60 ft is dead on! Bb’s are not accurate at all. Even with pumping, optic stays zeroed. Great fun for the back yard!

  7. Randolph Francis Jr

I ordered two firearms they came fairly quick which was exciting but when I open the box I only had one correct firearm. I had to return the wrong one back but they did send out the one I order the next day! Now that I have both firearms I couldn’t be more happier. The fully automatic on this firearm is so much fun! Works like a charm just goes quick do you have to reload a lot.

  8. Michael D Raper

    The gun keeps locking up
After a few tries trying to pull the trigger broke.

  9. Jack Salander

    It is easy to use.

  10. Tyrone Gardner

Would not fire after only firing about 50 bb’s and 10 pellets. The barrel came out, with pellets stuck in the barrel. Looks as if the barrel with splines was not pressed in and seated. Will not shoot straight no matter what i do to windage and elevation.

A fun piece to accessorize with red dot, laser, flashlight etc. Lots of Picatinny rail space, but the foregrip rail is not practical since your accessory will bump into the barrel when you cock. Cocking is stiff at first but becomes more fluid as you break in the gun. The open sights are trash – the rear peep snapped when I flipped it from small to large aperture, and the front post sight does not grab the Pic rail securely. How can you zero the sight when it wobbles on the rail? The plastic 5 shot magazine is crappy – the indexing notches are not uniformly spaced so you need to be careful when advancing the next pellet after a shot. Some magazines hold the pellet firmly while others allow the pellet to rattle around. The mags also don’t fit in the storage magazine properly – too tight. This gun deserves a 10 round rotary clip and redesigned receiver. Despite the annoying accessories, it shoots well, has a good telescoping stock, and is fun to practice with.
